The documentation we have for Mr *** is a gunsmith work order from April of The gunsmith work that was completed by our head gunsmith in May of and documented that there was no malfunction when placed on another lowerAs with all AR-parts and additional accessories, there are
issues with correct fit and some gunsmithing may be neededIn this case, the upper was placed on another lower and tested with no malfunctionsThe only other issue is that the customers lower does not fit to the upper correctlyAs with specific firearm accessories, such as uppers with barrels, if there is an issue after use, the accessory is sent back to the manufacturer for any major repair work due to warranty issues and the severity of having a firearm not functioning properly and causing an injuryAs the customer claims, his friend looked at the product and "saw a problem that could be causing it." It is not marked in our records of any suggestion from the customer of what the "problem" could have been, I do have confidence in our head gunsmith as he has over 20+ years in the industry of firearms and machine work It appears we did send the upper back to the manufacturer and it was returned after their reviewWe have reached out to the manufacturer for a response and have not received an official response of what repairs they completedAgain, the mating of an upper and lower on an AR-platform does not always work when you mix and match manufacturers or if someone has manufactured their own lower In my opinion, we have completed our due diligence to assist this customer in selling and receiving the proper product and even provided internal servicing to minimize the possibility of returning it to the manufacturerAfter reviewing the product and not finding any issues with the functionality, Any issues with functionality are directly with the customer and the manufacturerAs is the case with any firearm accessory that is used, any warranty issues are dealt with by the manufacturer and not completed by returning to the storeBest Regards,*** ***CEO/Owner

Down Range provided customer [redacted] with the required service as per the new California LawThe product came into the store and he was charged a transfer fee and the required State of CA sales tax[redacted] determined that some of the product had been shipped was not the right type[redacted] did not
return the items through Down RangeHe selectively shipped the product back to the seller by himselfDown Range tried to assist in getting the right product shipped to the store for [redacted]However, The seller would not respondAs [redacted] did not return the item through the store, he is not entitled to a return of any sales tax payment nor any service providedDown Range went above and beyond to contact the seller for [redacted] and we even provided him a credit? to use in the store of which [redacted] did not want[redacted] has been helped by Down Range and is upset of having to pay the transfer fee for ammunition the state of California requires to be shipped to a licensed ammo vendorOur licenses cost time and money and our services are not free?
