It has been months and two weeks and we are still not done with JDK Services who stated the bathroom would take them weeksThe countertop was installed 5/14/Claims that we were not responsive are incorrectHe is four months past estimated completion date so even if he blames us for weeks we are still very unhappy with their progress and quality of work Attached are some pictures showing the excessive lipping of the tile installed on the floorIt is a safety hazard with your shoes onScott the contractor has not looked at the poorly completed tile jobHe claims that his tile guy assured him he met the industry standardsClaiming you think you did just better than the worst you possibly can lets you know how committed to quality they really areAfter telling the tile subcontractor the job was unacceptable he said he was not going to fix it because it would require the floor tiles to be torn up Maximum lippage is 1/32" which is equal to .03125"The thickness of a dime can vary slightly but it's generally between .047" and .051" so a dime is about times as thick as the allowable lippageNumerous locations on the floor exceeds the thickness of a credit card that varies from .030" to .032" ***SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS REDACTED BY Revdex.com***

I am writing to address complaint ID # ***The person issuing the complaint is*** ***.The dates that she states for signing the remodel and the start of the remodel are correct.Mrs*** statements that we used the wrong grout, tile, etcare absolutely false, sheprovided us with the
item numbers and description and that is what she was givenMrs.*** was to have all the floor tile available to us and did notIt was special order (weeksout of New York).She was also to have all of the faucet hardware and again did notIt was also special order (3weeks)We purchase our tile through a local company that is very reputable and also subcontract out the tile installation through another licensed and bonded installerWe alsopurchase our plumbing supplies through a large local supplierThe lead times on acquiring theitems that Mrs*** was supposed to have were over a month and a halfThis pushed usinto other scheduled jobs.Her counter tops were purchased through a shop in Tacoma that has attempted to contact Mrs.*** several times over the last weeks with no answer (the top is Cambria and cannot justbe installed by anybody).Mrs*** praised the work done by us while we were there and also the tile setters while hewas there, but then bad mouthed to the others when they weren't there.The tile setter has gone back to her house times to attempt to make her happy and will notreturn.We work to painter, decorator, contractor association standards and our work definitelyexceeds them.Mrs*** has made change order requests as recently as weeks ago (change from mirrorto mirrors, remove tile curbing on shower wall and install Cambria curbing, add lights.As for the hole in her wall, it was always there behind the existing mirror (we have pictures).It will be repaired but definitely not caused by us.The real issue with the timeline is her failure to have supplies available in a timely manner.As for the shower doors it states in her contract that she is responsible for the shower doors.We will return to finish up the details as soon as we have heard from the counter top installersstating that they are finishedThere is nothing that can be done until then.As for not being able to contact me other than text, that is false, if you text me and I respondwhat makes you assume I won't respond to a phone call, or email?I am not going address requests for refunds or product replacementI have several otherlicensed contractors involved with this project who have had the same experience with Mrs.*** as me.Jerry K***/Scott K***JDK Services LLC253-310-

Claims that we were not responsive are incorrect. He is four months past estimated completion date so even if he blames us for 3 weeks we are still very unhappy with their progress and quality of work.
 
Attached are some pictures showing the excessive lipping of the tile installed on the floor. It is a safety hazard with your shoes on. Scott the contractor has not looked at the poorly completed tile job. He claims that his tile guy assured him he met the industry standards. Claiming you think you did just better than the worst you possibly can lets you know how committed to quality they really are. After telling the tile subcontractor the job was unacceptable he said he was not going to fix it because it would require the floor tiles to be torn up.
