JDS Builders, LLC

I entered into a contract with John S*** of JDS Builders LLC in for construction of an above ground pool deck and a fence The work was completed and payment was made to MrS*** There were a few issues that I wanted fixed and MrS*** sent one of his workers to look at the issues He said he would relay the issues to MrS***, and I never heard from MrS*** again During the construction process, MrS*** asked if I could write him a check made out to him so that he could go away to his cabin for a weekend I stupidly did so
I later found out that MrS*** never got any permits from th city to construct the deck or fence As it stands now, I may be forced to tear down the structures
I trusted MrS*** and I feel I was taken advantage of I'm not sure if he'll ever make good on his severe breach of trust with meBy not obtaining permits for this job, he not only placed me in jeopardy, he violated his requirements as a builder

While visiting town over the holiday weekend, I witnessed John verbally and loudly disparage people of color wwhile out at local restaurant in Las Cruces today If a company owner acts that carelessly and shows a lack of integrity in public , his place business is surely just as questionableI do not recommend doing business with JDS

Jds builders finally did call me about my complaint and came out on aug.13 to fix the roof leak.repairs were made,now we have to wait for a hard rain to see if they took care of the leak properly.thank you for your assisstance in this matter.
