MAACO Sales and Reconditioning LLC is a company formed by career criminal Travis [redacted] who had been sentenced to months in prison for wire fraud in He was released on 8/26/on parole conditions prohibiting him from being self employedThe business name MAACO is deceiving as it makes potential buyers believe that it is a legitimate and reputable MAACO franchiseeHe also created a deceiving email address as "maacokansascity" [redacted] has fallen into his old bad habits which can be found on line by searching his nameHe "sold" me four cars by sending me photos and descriptions of the cars with copies of titlesWhen it came to shipping the cars he created paperwork showing that they were indeed sent to the East CoastHe also produced UPS airway bills for packages which were supposed to include titles to the carsThese UPS packages were never sentAfter that I searched his name on google and found out about his criminal record and that it was the same blue print he used with me as he had used in the past on numerous scams which he served time forHe claimed that he was holding delivery of the cars as I accused him unjustly and he had to protect himself and his family and even went through the effort and cost to hire an attorney to write a mutual release agreementDuring all this time he claimed that the cars were in storage at a truck holding facility and that he had paid thousands in transport, storage and attorney feesHe once again created a UPS shipping label when asked for documents such as bill of lading, storage bills and titlesThat UPS package was never picked up at his "place of business" a duplex home in Kansas CityWeeks and weeks passed without cars being delivered or any proof given that they were ever shippedHe hired a new attorney whom he told that he was only a broker in the sale of these cars and that the seller would make problemsLater he stated that the cars would need work and he wouldn't want to ship them in that condition only to state a few weeks later that they were already shipped creating again a shipping order with a local transport brokerHe even had his attorney state that the cars were shipped, then we were told that they were at another holding areaCalls to transport company as well as the holding location he claimed they were stored at showed that these cars were never on a truck nor at a storage facilityAll the time he claimed that he had put the purchase amounts placed in trust accounts with attorneys and wanted to give a refundThe attorney who represented him had never seen such proofBeing aware that my attorney will eventually contact his probation officer and the prosecutors office he started playing a new cat and mouse game of delays promising refunding the moneyThis after more than months since he had received paymentsDuring all of this time he threatened me repeatedly to sue me, report me to authorities for tax fraud (which is without any grounds) and tried to intimidate meHe has stated that he has been working hard to arrange the refund, something which contradicts his previous statements that the money had been sitting in trust accounts for months alreadyI can only assume that his "hard work" could very likely be his efforts to defraud someone else out of moneyUntil this day I don't know if he even ever bought and owned the cars and if he sold them elsewhere for more money or if he even never purchased the cars and therefore was never in a position to sell themAs I write these lines his probation officer and prosecutor's office have been notified and a criminal complaint will be filed
