My mom wanted to have her hair colored so I suggested Jean Madeline in Plymouth Meeting Mall, PA in the morning of January of 2016. What a big mistake! The moment my mother and I walked in the Caucasian receptionist with God awful hairstyle and black hair was rude, discriminating, unprofessional and ignorant. Maybe she doesn't understand English. But half the time she was on her cell phone and the other half time dusting. All the other Caucasuan customers who walked in after us who definitely needed a total makeover including clothes, she was overally hospitable. My mother whose English is excellent, a personally well groomed and dressed woman she was incredibly rude to and including myself. When we asked for change after my moms hair color, she acted surprised and placed the change on the counter. If my mother wasn't so exhausted and we had come in separate cars. I would have spoken to the manager in front of this lazy and ignorant employee. When we left the salon, she didn't even acknowledge us. The hair color which was terrible and expensive $68 was waste of money and time. Could have done better job with over the counter hair coloring package. This business at Plymouth meeting mall is dead and need the business. That employee should be retrained or fired!!!
