The only generator we sold this year sold for $to an *** *** of Lords ValleyIt was a *** Generator that came with a receipt from the original price of $4699. That was including the installation price. *** *** uninstalled the generator himself and still possesses the original bill of sale. We do on site house/tag sales and man each sale according to the quantity and quality of items in each home. If the owners of the house wish to be present and offer to staff the sale as extra manpower to offset a higher commission we always work with them. We do have a following of regular customers which is what most customers hope for Auction family is a nice way to say following. We price fair market values to each high ticket item so that it is fair to both the buyer and the seller. Working on a commission basis guarantees that I am working harder for the seller rather than the buyer. Many people have an over inflated sense of what their items are worth hence the need to hire someone else to handle their resale needs. There is always prep at every saleRemoving debris from home, staging, research into values, photgraphing items, posting items on websites, advertising etcAn overcrowded sale would be proof positive that I had done by job by advertising a successful sale. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I neglected to name my sister to whom I am referring was taken advantage of. Her name is Joan Larsen, the tag sales were done in August 2015.While I do not have the exact numbers, the multi day sale, of a fully furnished, filled with 20 years of household goods, antiques, clothing, jewelry, tools, appliances, a 3000 sq ft home, two floors, a basement, attic and, garage all filled with items, produced approximately $6000.
The sale may have been advertised well but was without a doubt under manned and chaotic....resulting in the theft of several items. There were areas of the house that were blocked off and were still rummaged through. There was no prep, nothing was pre priced, there wasn't even a ball park estimate of any of the more prominent items/antiques.  Those looking to buy an item had to ask for a price, which seemed to be pulled out of thin air without real care or thought to its value. The house was picked through and completely trashed, starting out organized and ending up looking like garbage was thrown about.
I will repeat the fact that in between the scheduled "tag day sales" Jeannie  allowed random people to go over to my sister house, to whom she also gave the security code to the garage, and allowed them to rummage around, take whatever they pleased, completely unattended. Who knows what they took, let alone if it was paid for, or if any money from those random unattended people actually made it back to my sister.
My sister put her trust in Jeannie to manage a well run and fair priced tag sale of her home and got nothing even close.Regards,[redacted]
