Review: On 4-16-2012, I purchased a new home from Jeb@sons builders with a one year full warranty. Over the past year they have failed to fix a few minor things that have now cost me money and have damaged my house and yard, which include a faulty down spout, hot water heater a broken step and several other items. They lied to me and my wife about the amount of water in the basement, which damaged the hot water heater. On 5-3-13 The builder came over and installed a new hot water heater and told me that he would have a plumber helping him, but lied about that. The hot water heater was installed wrong and water damaged my basement and belongings. This is why I did not want them installing the hot water heater. This has been on going for a year and they continue to fail to fix anything in a craftmanship like manner. They lie constantly just to try to save money instead of fixing it right and not having to come back. I had to call my own plumber to come and fix the hot water heater right. Even that plumber was dissapointed how the builder installed it. I would have never purchased this home if I knew I was going to be treated like this. They like to cut corners and save money at all costs no matter what the consumer wants. Several neighbors have told me familiar problems with them as well with cutting corners. When I called them about the down spout overflowing and damaging the yard and flooding it out I was told that I got a good deal on the house and to not call them about fixing anything. I was told they are not coming out to fix anything.Desired Settlement: I am requesting to be reimbursed for the down spout I had to pay to get upgraded $225.00 and for damage to personal items damaged by the faulty hot water heater installation. Also for my time to clean up and stress they caused myself and my family.I also had to fix my yard. I am requesting 2,500.
