Review: A bus was towed into critchlows that my company owns. It was towed by the police department. Per the Towing and Towing Facilities Standard Act in PA the towing companies must post their rates and make the customer aware of the rate and where it is being towed to prior to it being towed. I had to call the next morning for several hours to try to find out who towed our company vehicle and for what reason. A simple call saying hello we are towing your vehicle in case you will be wondering where it went to would have been appreciated and saved lots of stress and that's expected by law anyways. The company forced me to pay $800 in cash only because they were worried that I was going to dispute the charge with my credit card company because they knew in the back of my mind I was from out of town and they were ripping me off. The towing act in PA gives the customer the right to pay with either a check, cash or credit card that in which they denied me that right. They also charged me $300 for storage. In the act for PA it states in order to charge for storage it must be in a gated lot. This company has no business towing buses as it has no lot that's gated to even keep buses. Let alone charge for storage when they cant store it per the states guidelines to protect the customers vehicle. Damage was done to the vehicle when it was towed but that is a whole different story.Desired Settlement: I want the storage fee of $300 reimbursed to me or I want the charge placed on my credit card and the $800 payment I made in cash refunded to me.
