I am rejecting this response because: While most of what is in Jeff Drennen's response is factual, they have left out some key pieces of information I accepted their verbal offer of settlement on October and was informed that the offer that Rodney from Jeff Drennen's verbally made to me was from General Motors He said that it would take approximately to days for them to process the settlement I was expecting paperwork and a check so that I could return the defective vehicle around 10/ I talked Rodney around that date and he informed me that I would hear something by Monday 10/ I did not hear from him or General Motors on Monday so I filed this complaint on Wednesday 10/ At the point of filing the complaint, I had nothing in writing regarding the settlement being offered so I feel I have been strung along over the last months without any resolution. After filing this complaint, I received a voicemail from Rodney stating that we were making progress and that we now had a claim number This has made me believe that General Motors was just now starting to review my case and not that we already had an agreement Therefore, I would like to again pursue the couple items that I was willing in the past to compromise on I also want to continue to pursue the legitimate lemon law claim with General Motors.I finally heard directly from General Motors today and the Repurchase Coordinator stated that his office just received notice of this claim yesterday, 10/ He is requesting that I provide all of the appropriate claim information that I have already provided Rodney at Jeff Drennen as if General Motors never received the information It feels as if I am starting all over againI plan to work directly with him for the buy back from General Motors and pursue further actions with Jeff Drennen for the loss of the tax advantage on my vehicle trade, receiver and mats In my mind, Jeff Drennen has not provided the customer service that they stated they were doing for me It feels as if they were not really working with General Motors on a buy back even though they made a verbal offer It was not being processed by General Motors as I was led to believe My wife and I were inconvenienced several times when they had our vehicle for service, needing to return several vehicles at their request due to pending sales I worked with them in good faith, responding to their requests in a timely and am asking the same consideration from them When I asked about dealing directly with them to work this out, Rodney even stated to read your contract, you never purchased this from Jeff Drennen This dealership and their staff are the only ones that I worked with for this purchase I feel they are a house of mirrors; accepting credit when things go well and denying liability when things go poorly Regards, [redacted] ***

We do apologize for all of the confusion concerning the West Virginia sales tax, rewriting the sales contract will not be necessary. The total sales tax from [redacted]"s sales contract was submitted for payment to the state of West Virginia,we were waiting for the state to return it. will issue a check today in the amount of $186.00 .Mr [redacted] is a valued customer and we appreciate his driving all the way to [redacted] Oh. to purchase his 2008 GMC Yukon!!!  Rodney C[redacted]ManagerJeff Drennen Chevrolet Buick GMC CadillacZanesville Oh 43701Ph 740-452-4579 ext 106

Mr. [redacted] purchased his 2016 Chevrolet Equinox on 02/15/2016 from Jeff Drennen Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac  of Zanesville,Oh. with 124 miles on the odometer. On or about 03/23/2016 with 946 miles on the odometer Mr. [redacted] brought his vehicle in for service listing his complaint as a leak of...

some type of fluid from the middle of the vehicle. The repair performed at this time was a reseal carrier cover to housing, and reseal drive modual housing to differential housing, top off fluid level, clean and recheck. The second repair order is dated for 06/15/2016 at 3145 miles, customer complaint "fluid leak',cause right rear axle seal leaking, correction, replace the seal, refill. The third complaint for leak at rear of vehicle was dated 07/07/2016,fluid was found leaking around right rear axle seal, due to a manufacture defect in the differential housing the seal would not stay in the housing,a new differential housing was ordered for replacement.Due to a back order status for the required part the order was escalated and prioritized through GM. Mr. [redacted] was provided with a Courtesy Transportation Vehicle during his wait ,these vehicles being new GM vehicles,at no charge to him to ease with any inconvenience created by the time required to complete his repair. Mr. [redacted] sent a letter to Jeff Drennen dated 08/05/2012 stating he wanted his money back under the guidelines of the Lemon Law,he had "Absolutely no faith in General Motors",he also stated he had "No problems with your dealership" but that he did want a refund.  Mr. [redacted] was contacted and the dealership offered to forward his request to the district Service Manager for review, it was also communicated that he did indeed qualify for Lemon Law provisions and all records and documents concerning his purchase and repairs would be sent . Mr. [redacted] was advised that the process can take some time and to be patient. After review GM did ask Mr [redacted] if he would accept a replacement vehilcle ,he elected to proceed with the buy back. Mr. [redacted] at that time requested reimbursement for the acccessories installed on his vehicle,an extra key, interest and bank fees,in addition he requested the tax benefit for the used car allowance on his intial purchase and to have the oil stains removed from his garage floor. GM responded by allowing the key reimbursement, bank interest and fees, the original GM accessories installed at the time of delivery and offering up to $200 to have the spots professionally removed from his floor. GM declined to reimburse Mr. [redacted] for an aftermarket hitch he had installed post delivery, for any tax dollars not paid by Mr. [redacted],offering to completely reimburse Mr. [redacted] for his purchase ,trade allowance, sales tax paid, document, title and license fees paid on his purchase order less manufacture incentives as per Ohio Lemon Law requirements. Mr. [redacted] was presented wit the proposal from GM,he accepted the terms, requesting that Jeff Drennen remove the hitch at no charge, which we agreed to do. Mr. [redacted] requested instead of having his floor cleaned that he be compensated $200 towards his purchase of a power washer which he could use to clean his floor,Mr. Drennen agreed to these terms, the $200 being dealership compensation falling outside of the terms of the GM proposal. Mr. [redacted] agreed to the terms and GM was notified.Mr. [redacted]'s case was submitted for final review and audit,he was notified of this. Jeff Drennen Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac has acted in good faith to expedite Mr. [redacted]"s request for buy back, communicating information between the customer and manufacture. The Lemon Law is specific that the liabilty from the  defect in the manufactured product is between the manufacture and the purchaser,Jeff Drennen has offered in goodwill to remove the hitch and issue payment of $200 towards the purchase of a pressure washer to assist Mr. [redacted]. Mr [redacted] is being offered a complete purchase reimbursement from GM and therefore additional compensation to Mr.[redacted] for tax dollars benefits due to Ohio Law concerning new car purchases or profit on the sale of the trade vehicle are not warranted
