Jeff Harrington Master Plumber

Complaint[redacted] took my money and will not finish the job. I had to hire another plumber to start all over and finish the job.[redacted] and I agreed on a contract of $3245 on 4/10/14. I paid him 50% that day. From the start date of 4/11 until 5/19 he was paid $2422 and did 5-10% of the job and did it all incorrectly and told me he couldn't finish the job because he was filing for bankruptcy. I had to hire another plumber to come in and redo the little bit of work he did. [redacted] would tell me he was coming and then would not come. He would even lie about the reason he could not come. He would always ask for money. One day he came for about an hour and said he needed a drill bit and he didn't have money to buy it. He said if I gave him the money he would be done today. I gave him the money and he did not come back until the next day. He said he had to order the drill which he now has and he'll be done today. He then packed up his tools and left and I never saw him again. He installed a tankless during the month he prolonged this job but never hooked up the water lines. He also left my wife and 4 kids and me without hot water becuase he did not hook up the lines. [redacted] is a thief and should be in jail for his actions.Desired SettlementI am looking for a full refund. I had to hire a new plumber to come in and redo all the incorrect work.

Quoted a job. Collected all the money.Did not complete the work. Late on contract, did not return calls. He did not complete the work, constant asked for money for work not really completed. Jeff took payment in full without the job being done. When I notice the gas pipe was not attached to the gas lines and the sink drain lines fell over, the tub having a plastic tub sticking out, I realized something was wrong. I called in a second plumber to review work and below is what was found.NOT Completed:The gas for stove line was not hook up(line move completed). - 750Sinks not hooked up to back flow pipe. Ice maker(completed) - 450Upstairs tub fixture not completed - 100I PAID HIM IN FULL FOR JOB I THOUGHT the job WAS COMPLETED. I called another plumber to check my suspicions and found the contract had not been fulfilled. --------- history --------------------------- Quote on April 8April 13 signed contract paid deposit 1/2 down 850.Job to start 4/154/15 text to move to 4/16I called him on 4/16 due to no show.Change start date to 4/20.4/20 mid day, Jeff contacted to no show.Change start date to 4/214/21 - worked 2 to 3 hours to rough in piping and ask for 300 for parts.4/22 - no show, no call4/23 - no show, his mother [redacted] called and said he was sick.4/27 - he shows up with helper. Said he had completed all work except for Wrap and winterize pipes, bring up to code 1 inch. 4/28 He comes back to complete work.2100850 - 4/13 Deposit300 - 4/21 needed early pay to buy a part600 - 4/27 to pay for work completed(Gas, cutoff, pot filler, upstairs bathroom, refrigerator value, sink move, sink addition)------Wrap and winterize pipes, bring up to code 1 inch, insulation, secure pipes so fixture do not wiggle, add 3 wood steps to make it little easier access from attic - with discount final payment 350. Desired SettlementI expect a refund for the unfinished work.The unfinished work totaled about 1300.I would like a 650 dollar refund so I may pay a plumber I can trust to complete a job before excepting full payment for a job.
