called all over the place but this truck takes two different radiators. So the first one is about $125 and the second was $183 for the second one. So I did the work. I showed him exactly how much everything costed and showed him the labor cost.
I am rejecting this response because: When I called for an estimate I gave him the year, make and model of my vehicle. He did say that there were 2 radiators for my vehicle and needed the engine size which I did not know. he asked me to look at the radiator and tell him if there were any additional hoses going into the radiator for oil cooling, which I told him there were not and that's when he gave me the estimate of $200, I told him I would bring it in on Friday and was told that would be "no problem", I asked when it would be done and was told "same day". I was NEVER given an estimate of $300 and I called around 2:30 to ask if there were any problems and I was told "no". About 4:30 I called and was told that my vehicle was ready, I asked what was the total and was told $293. I informed them that I was quoted $200 for the repair and I was told that the place were they normally get their radiators didn't have them so they had to buy one at a cost of $156. I was told that the BEST THEY COULD DOWAS BRING DOWN THE PRICE to $258. Not until after the work was done I was told that it was going to be $293. I was told that the part would have arrived Monday or Tuesday if they had not purchased it right away. I asked why was I not informed of this with a call or when I called. The only answer I received was "people want the work done but don't want to pay!". If he had quoted me $300 WHY WOULD HE BRING DOWN THE PRICE?
