situationAs a company that has been in business with excellent ratings and loyal customers and client referrals for over years, we have built a trustworthy experienced team of employees to ensure that every job is done efficiently and that our quality is not compromised by inexperience or dishonestyWe have completed multiple projects for Mrand Mrs***, at their place of business and also at their personal residence, since February of As an established customer, they have prior personal experience and knowledge of the ability of our company to ultimately satisfy their final expectationsHowever, due to their very busy and demanding schedule associated with the nature of their profession, scheduling and communication with them was difficultThere were also times when we were in route to the jobsite as scheduled and were requested to reschedule for personal reasonsWe did our best to accommodate their needs and special requests while also maintaining and attending to numerous other customers and jobs already scheduled and in progressAlso, due to inclement and unpredictable weather, as well as, unforeseen problems that arose during the remodel process and the inability to effectively communicate and/or meet with Mrand Mrs*** (sometimes not receiving a response from them for days and sometimes weeks or longer), the timing of our presence on their project was heavily dependent on these factorsFinally, as Mrand Mrs*** are aware, being previous customers of Jeff Tucker Builders, all invoices are, in fact, “Due Upon Receipt” as stated on every InvoiceWe have never “demanded a check immediately” from anyoneWe have been very lenient with their pay schedule and although they are usually prompt with their payment, we have at times received payment 10-days after invoicing and only after inquiring as to when payment could be expectedIn regard to the complaint that states, “they demanded a check immediately and if not work would terminate”, there are some key issues the complainant failed to mentionAfter Mrs*** expressed some concerns and questioned the productivity of our employees and asked for a more detailed invoice for them to review and compare, we made an executive decision to stop forward progress until those questions were abated and all outstanding invoices were paid in fullWe offered to meet with Mrand Mrs*** several times in order to review their file with them and show them our records, as we keep very detailed records and reports of all hours spent on a jobsite as well as details of all work that is done during that timeThey refused to meet with us stating that they were too busy and their time was too valuable to do so. With that in mind, after receiving the next payment, we let Mrs*** know that we would continue the project and send invoices weekly but would temporarily halt progress after each invoice was sent until it was paid in fullBy doing so, it would allow them ample time that they needed to review the invoice and the work that was done before sending paymentAgain, we did not “demand a check immediately” but we did ask when we could expect to receive payment so that the job could continueThere were two projects in progress at the time of our last conversation with Mrand Mrs***. Unfortunately, with much regret, we had to leave one of those projects unfinished due to lack of communication and cooperation on their partAfter our decision to terminate the projects, we returned to the jobsite and secured the project from damage that could occur due to natural elements in the future while remaining unfinishedThe second job was completed and invoicedHowever, at the time of this resolution letter, the invoices for the completed project have been left unpaid by Mrand Mrs***, including one invoice that is now over days past due in the amount of $They have not communicated with us regarding their intent as to when or if this invoice will be paidWe will respect the request of Mrand Mrs*** and will not attempt to contact or communicate with them in the futureAs small business owners, we have been serving Southeast Texas and the surrounding areas for over years. We value every customer and have made lots of lifetime friendships in our years of operationAnytime there are questions and concerns, we always try to resolve these issues to the best of our ability so that we can maintain our positive reputation and avoid further conflict
