Jeff's Rubbish Removal

This is a response from Jeff's Rubbish Removal in regards to a complaint given by *** *** *** ** *** * *** *** ** ***.When our customers sign up for service they are told that the fee for service is charged every month regardless if the service is used or not.When someone no longer
wants service we discontinue their service and are no longer chargedIn order for us to know this we do need a phone call from the customer saying they no longer want our service and we make arrangements to pick up our containers. I never received a call from the *** to know they no longer wanted service.The account was under *** and *** ***, their account was often past due in which we do stop service until the balance is paid in fullWe do continue to charge the monthly fee until we hear that they would like to cancel our service. We often went against our own policy because we felt bad that she is a school teacher and he was going through medical problemsWe would pick up their trash even know they were past due*** would always say "please pick up my trash you know I will always pay we just get behind because she doesn't work in the summer".We did stop service after they did not pay for Dec, Jan, Feb, March, and April. We did pick up our cans on Aug19, 2016. So they were not charged from May to Aug because we just gave up. It would have been fair to us to have received a call from the customer on the first invoice they disagreed with instead of waiting months and then just reporting us to the Revdex.com.Today WedSept14, 2016 I called to politely say that I received the complaint and I wanted them to know that the bill is all taken care of. *** expressed to me that he has been in the hospital and ***e could not keep up with the billsI said sorry to hear you have been in the hospital but your bill is all set we took all charges of your account. I did express we were a little hurt by the situation considering we always bent over to help.I received a call back from *** moments later saying that I was harassing him because I was making him feel like it was his fault that they owed money and now they are going to file another complaint today. All I was doing was being extra nice to let them no their bill had been removed and once again get blamed.We feel that this could have easily been resolved if they would have contacted us back in Dec
