Here is the timeline:April 10th - [redacted] came to Moody Eyes Downtown for an eye exam for contact lenses and to order contact lensesShe was not eligible for an exam under her [redacted] vision plan because she had already had [redacted] pull the AuthorizationOur staff offered to provide the eye care for $89, our non-vision plan patient fee and to file for vision plan reimbursement when the authorization was released [redacted] agreed and the services were provided.April - 17th - [redacted] released the authorization, we filed for benefits, and I called the patient to discuss the refundI left a voice mail asking [redacted] to call me backShe never returned my callMy wife, Connie, who is a CPA and operates our back office wrote her a check for $but we wanted to confirm the amount before we sent itI have attached a photo.April 26-27th - We received the reimbursement from [redacted] and posted it on her accountApril 30th - We contacted [redacted] with a new amount of $for a refundShe hung up on Connie twice as she tried to explain how we came to that amountConnie sent her an email stating how we had arrived at $and asking her to respond to confirm this was acceptableEmail is attached.All of this occurred before she filed a complaint with the Revdex.com, with the IPLA, and posting negative reviews on Facebook and GoogleWe had an exchange on Facebook messenger last evening trying to clarify this situation and resolve itDuring this exchange [redacted] called Connie a liar claiming the $was never offeredAfter sending her a copy of Connie's email and her reply she admitted "I was wrong."I am amazed that [redacted] would not take the time to read our offer and respondShe could have agreed to the amount or stated that a different amount was due to herAt no point in time did we refuse or indicate we would refuse her a refundWe were simply trying to make sure it was the right amount so [redacted] would be satisfiedAt this point she has accused us of "fraud", of being "greedy", and of being dishonest and without integrityI do not take these charges lightly as none of them have any meritTaking down the posts does not take away the negative opinions those who saw them could haveSince you are now involved, this is what I would like done:- You contact [redacted] this morning (she has demanded that I do not contact her again) that you have photos of the checks (you are welcome to send copies to her)- I will send you the checks for safe keeping and to show our intentions of resolving this matter- The checks are to be released to [redacted] when she shows documented proof that she has either withdrawn or marked as settled the complaint with the Revdex.com, done the same the IPLA complaint, and has written an apology to Connie for calling her a liar [redacted] has demanded to be notified by noon today.You can reach me at 317-258-8971.Thank you, DrPenn Moody? ?

We resolved the issue today and have an email from *** stating the same.Here is what she wrote us via email today:From:*** *** *** Sent:Wednesday, May 2, 10:AMTo:***; Connie Moody Subject:Complaint *** The refund due to me, *** *** from Moody Eyes, complaint ***, has been satisfiedThey also included a copy of my prescription so that I never have to deal with this business ever again. I'd like my complaint against this business dismissedPlease feel free to contact me with any questions. Thank you, *** ***
