Thank you,Our response is:Since our store offers no cash refunds on equipment, as stated on the invoice, we are willing to make an exception. Using the Grounds Equipment Blue Book, for a blower with the original purchase date of 10-7-13. The valve of the blower is $95-105. We are willing to refund the client $100, however, we would need the rest of the parts that was not given to us for the repair. Including all the Vac tubes, the bag, the elbow and strap. Or the other option is to deduct the amount of the items ($45.09) from the amount. If needed I can provide an itemized list with part numbers and prices and a copy of the Grounds Equipment Blue Book figure.Thank you for your time,MichelleJefferson Hills Lawn Equipment

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. When I dropped off the unit in December, I was told that someone would contact me in a few days. I was not informed that Tom was having surgery, which is irrelevant, because Tom is not the only repair person. The business response states that the unit was repaired in early March. I was never contacted with that information. I contacted the business times in April, and was never told that the unit had been repaired, only that Tom would call me back, which he never did. I contacted *** on April and spoke with ***, who contacted Tom. *** informed me that Tom would call me back, which he never did. Business response states that I was under the impression that *** would call me back. I was never under that impression. I contacted *** again on April 27. *** again contacted Tom who said that he had been busy. If the unit was repaired in early March, as the business states, why was that never communicated to me or to ***?? Since I never heard that the unit had been repaired, I had no choice but to purchase a new unit from a different business in May. Due to an unacceptable timeframe for repair, without contact from the business, the only acceptable solution to me is a full refund.?
Regards,
*** ***

Our response is:Under the warranty policy written by ***, the unit is covered under the ORIGINAL purchase date The unit, while covered under the year warranty, will be repaired or replaced if deemed non-repairable The customers unit has been repaired and has passed all tests performed under the manufactures specifications from *** According to our invoice given to customer at the time of the initial purchase, only store credit will be issued.Since customer stated in his last response "unit is covered under warranty", the unit has been repaired and is ready for pick up We will mail the unit to the customer if that is what he would like.Attached is a copy of the *** Warranty StatementThank you,MichelleJefferson Hills Lawn Equipment

The business is using a blue book value for the original blower purchased in October 2013. That blower was replaced on April 22, due to failure of the original. Using either date, the blower is still covered under a 2-year warranty, so there should be no cost to me for the valve. They are welcome to the parts that they requested. I still hold to my original request for a full refund

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. As previously stated, my complaint is regarding the poor service that was delivered by this dealership. Until I contacted the Revdex.com, I was never contacted by the business regarding the repair status of my leaf blower. They have stated in Revdex.com correspondence that it was repaired in March. I contacted them times in April & they never said that the repair had been completed Also in April, *** contacted them twice on my behalf and there was never any communication that the repair had been completed Since I needed a leaf blower, I had to purchase a new one. I don't need the old one back, and store credit is not acceptable because I do not want to do business with Jefferson Hills Lawn & Garden. The only acceptable restitution is a cash refund.?
