Review: On or about 07/18/2014 I was told to vacate the three units by 07/19/2014. I requested the office staff to extend the vacate date. I was granted the extension by corporate. My units were locked by [redacted] on a daily basis. [redacted] was holding my belongings hostage. I requested to use the truck I had purchase on 07/18/2014 to load my household items that evening while I was in possession of the truck. After several calls to the Culpeper police dept and the attorney General and Corporate, [redacted] approves the 24 hour access on 07/29/2014. Please note this is not a gated storage site. This only gave me two days to vacate the three (3) units in 24 hours. I was denied access to my three units since 07/18/2014. All employees were advice to to keep the units lock at all times. I sent an email stating that I would need the 24 hour access which was in the signed agreement. Due to my schedule this was the main reason for the rental purchase. I called the sheriff to file a report for unlawfully withholding my items. I asked how can I remove and vacate the storage when the units are lock by [redacted] employees. Please no that the monthly storage fee was paid in full for July and August of 2014. The sheriff were present when I requested to vacate one of my storage unit I was denied access by [redacted], supervisor of the [redacted] It. 24 hours is not antiquate time to remove three storage units by one person. Due to my full time employment I have the evenings to vacate, I was not given an opportunity to vacate my items within reason. I do not have the means to remove my household items within two days without a truck which I had on 07/18/2014. There are no late payments due for any of the three units, they are paid in full. Also, I was accused without proof by "[redacted]" for damage caused to a gutter that was caused by another tenant. [redacted] also stated that my unit had a smell which was not present on 07/28/2014. There were sheriff present to witness the location of the truck that I was accused of damaging the gutter.Desired Settlement: I am requesting additional time to vacate the premises. I would like a full refund of the last months paid due the three units inaccessibility despite the full payment for all three units.
