Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The reason we are not accepting the response is because basically the insurance representative just summarized what they were going to do on their behalf This was not a agreement of the conflict at hand Our company wants a full refund or we will contact our lawyer and let him deal with this situation After not accepting Bassetts response last week, the tenant informed usthat the heat was not working at all now Therefore, the $was nothing but a joke In summary, if we don't get the full refund of $534, we will fight this out in court We have pictures, testimonies, and all the work that was done by the insurance company I can't believe that a company would even think that the money they charged us was legit Regards, [redacted]

On 10/29/we did perform a service call to the location and during the visit our vacuum cleaner did malfunction as we cleaned the system the tenant was present and we were told not to worry about itThe following day we were contacted by the tenant after she noticed some black substance on the
floor and bottoms of shoes, we sent our field supervisor out to Inspect the situation and was told by the tenant she just wanted a professional cleaning of the house we agreed and ask if the landlord was aware of the situation and was told noAt that time we called *** *** and had to leave a message so we left the homeShortly after we received the return phone call from *** *** and he stated that the home needed cleaned and now the tenants could not even stay in the home and needed a hotelAt that time he was told this was more than just a cleaning and we would contact our Insurance company to get the situation handled on Friday 10/30/the claim was filedSince then an adjuster and clean up crew has visited the home for Inspection and a full clean up is scheduled*** *** agreed with our Insurance adjuster that a cleaning would close the case

We did review the Installation Invoice from the other company this is what we recommended on 10/29/is there a Service Invoice from the other provider showing the furnace was not working with a repair quote that we could review

In response to the complaint filed by Mrs. [redacted],  we did install her new system on 3/20/2013, (not March of 2014) and Included a 10 year manufactures warranty on parts that good until 3/20/2023 and a 1 year labor warranty that expired on 3/20/2014. Mrs. [redacted] did sign up on a...

maintenance program with the 1st visit done on 3/10/2014 with no issues found, 2nd visit done on 9/22/2014 with no issues found and 3rd done on 4/21/2015 when we found the unit not operating properly and notified the customer of the Issue and that we scheduled the Service Department to come troubleshoot the issue. On 4/22/2015 our Service Department returned to trouble shoot the problem and found a faulty part, when quoting the labor charge to replace the failed part the customer was very upset due to the system being so new. It was explained to them that the labor warranty expired 3/20/2014 but we would take care of it no charge to make them happy. At that time the customer also wanted us to pay their electric bills for the entire heating season  due to the fact they thought we damaged the unit 9/22/2014. We told the customer they should have called once they noticed the increased usage on their electric bill and also that it was a failed part and had nothing to do with the maintenance. We did offer a 1yr free maintenance package but the customer declined the offer.

The company did offer a free one year service agreement which I choose to decline since I no longer desire to do any business with this company. I do still believe that the cleaning that was done on 09/22/2014 was the start of the issuses with my unit. I believe this due to the fact that as soon as we started using that unit after the 9/22 cleaning that our elec usage began going up by almost twice the amount. If no damage was done to my unit at that time then it would have been operating with @ the same amount of power. I submitted the copies of my daily usage to Bassett for them to review. Usage bills clearly show that our bill started going up at that time. I do feel that something was done wrong in that cleaning. I also did not request that they pay the entire seasons bill. Since our billing is on budget billing we where not made aware of the increased usage until out yearly budget adjustment. I simply wanted their company to stand behind the work done on our unit and make some refund back. I had to pay a 1700.00 difference in usage from one year to the next because of my unit being on Emerg heat the whole season. I paid 380.00 in a service agreement for them to service my unit so it would be maintained correctly. So I basically paid them 380.00 to come in and do something to my unit that made my power bill double as soon as it was turned back on after their cleaning. I thought I was dealing with a very customer serviced based company when I choose them to handle our unit. This is no where near close to my idea of customer service.
