I had two dealing with Chris, shop mechanic/owner....and was very please on his consultation and honest recommendation. I asked about a aftermarket air flow box will improve or necessary for my truck and he said no, because for my truck I am better off running stock. He said I could sell you one but I suggested to save your money. That honesty I love and trust when a mechanic will tell me the truth. Second experience, Chris again diagnosis that I had a bad injector and I was concern that he was going to suggest a complete new set of injectors. But he was able to find one injector problem and replaced it and charge my a very fair price. Lot of other mechanics would had just replace a lot of injectors but Chris from the problem and diagnosis correctly and again charged me very fairly for the job. I have been telling all my diesel friends of his professional conduct and expert advice. I highly recommend this shop to all diesel customers. Honest and trustworthy.
The only improvement I suggest to Chris is, returning calls when I leave it on the office voice mails. I left two two dirrent time and neither one was ever return. Either the office staff is not relaying to Chris to need to organize his return customer calls. Other than that this shop is still worth dealing with. Thanks Chris

Jefferson State Diesel are experienced and terrific diesel mechanics. They give fantastic customer service and are thorough in their repairs. My Diesel truck broke down hauling a 5th wheel on vacation passing through Yreka, Ca. A shop in Yreka gouged me for $$$ to find the problem, probably because they knew I was on vacation and desperate to get it fixed. I finally had it towed into Redding to Jefferson State Diesel. So glad I did. They are honest, reliable, and didn't charge me the full rate for things when they could have. These guys also race diesels nationwide. Wish they had a shop where I live.
