Review: I paid Mr. [redacted] to complete returns for the year 2008-2011. I paid him quarterly for sales tax reporting and income tax filings. I also paid additional fees to complete returns. Mr. [redacted] after billing me additional fees and receiving payment decided to resign as my accountant and return my information. Not only was I counting on him to prepare my returns in a timely fashion but he gave me no notice because I am under a deadline with the IRS. I will probably be liable for fees and interest in additional to the monies that I paid Mr. [redacted] to complete the returns.Desired Settlement: I desire a refund of $5000 from the $16,000 I paid him over the last 6 years. It will cost me $5000 to hire a new accountant and for him or her to file the back returns.
