April 2, 2018On March 21, 2017, we sold a pre-owned *** *** ** to this customerAt the time of sale, he agreed topurchase our Fitzgerald Buyer Protection Plan (BPP)This is normally sold for $695, however, in an effort to earn hisbusiness, we only charged him $for itThe BPP is our
own in-house loyalty/retention program, which is ViN-speci?c,and offers quarterly vouchers for parts or senzice and miscellaneous discounts to regularly keep as in iront of ourcustomers for as long asthey own that vehiclein the contract (attached), it states that it may be transferred to a newowner, but because it is VIN-specific, it cannot be transferred to a different vehicleThis customer called and spoke withEd M***, Service Manager, on March 26, (a year after purchase), to request the transfer to a different vehicle-which was not purchased at Fitzgerald Auto MallEd explained that this is not typical, but did offer to contact someoneat a corporate level on his behalfBy Thursday, March 28, (within days of initial contact}, Ed had already setup anew plan for the new vehicle, as a measure of goodwillNote: This was remedied prior to receiving the Revdex.com writtencomplaintWe always do our best to provide the highest level of customer sen/ice possible.Respectfully,Emily M.General Manager
