Jeffrey Roofing & Painting Contractors Reviews (2)

Review: I had contacted Jeffrey Construction to come do a Chip Seal driveway back in June 2015. When I called they came immediately and gave me an estimate and explained to me that the driveway would be similar to an asphalt driveway. It would remain smooth with no potholes nor grass coming through the driveway, and it would have a 3 year warranty on the work performed. Within a month from the work being performed I started having issues with the driveway. I now have potholes down my drive way, grass is coming through, and the driveway is not smooth at all. When it rains it also holds water in numerous parts of the driveway. It's deteriorating and starting to feel like a gravel driveway, which is not what we paid for.The gentleman that came out to give us and estimate explained to us that the driveway could hold the weight of a Crane with no problems at all, it wouldn't leave tire marks from the crane etc, and that seemed to have been a lie. I have given them numerous chances in getting someone out to my house and they have been unsuccessful. My fiance has spoken with Ms. Shirley at their office and she continues to say they will send someone out and till this day no one has come. I'd like for them to come back out and repair my driveway as per their warranty.Desired Settlement: I'd like for them to come take a look at the driveway preferably after it rains,so they can see how the driveway holds water in numerous parts. It also has grass coming through and has tire marks from a machine that was on our driveway. They need to repair the entrance section, and add some extra layers to the entire drive way so they can even out it out due to the potholes. And figure out why grass is still coming through when they said it wouldn't.

Review: Jeffrey's Construction Roofing and Painting Contractors in Schriever replaced the entire carport roof on our home on September 15, 2011 utilizing new materials which included base sheets, shingles, ice and water shields, flashing and caps at all joints. Up until recently we have had no problem with leakage and the job seemed to be holding. However, while raining last week, I noticed some drops falling under the carport. The following day, I found the paid invoice which stated "Work performed carries 2 yr warranty on parts and labor." It also stated all the work they did and that the invoice was paid in full.I called Jeffrey's Roofing and spoke to the woman answering the phone. I gave her my name, phone number, date of service, invoice number and described the problem. I had to repeat the date of service three times and she could not find the invoice. She told me she would call me back which she did the following day. Again, she told me she could not find my invoice dated 9-15-12...and I reiterated that the date was 9-15-11, not 2012. She then stated that the warranty would be null and void because our area experienced a storm since 2011 and any warranties were voided due to the storm. I explained that we did not have any damage for the storm, nor any claim with our insurance and that the invoice did not state the warranty would be voided due to a storm nor were we told that information upon completion of the repair. She stated that it was a known fact that roofing companies do this and it was their policy. I had never heard of this and asked her to have Mr. [redacted] call me to discuss the problem. To date, I have not received a phone call from him nor has anyone come out to check the roof which is still leaking.Desired Settlement: I would expect Jeffrey's Construction Roofing and Painting Contractors to honor their warranty; come out to my home and look at the roof; determine where the leak is; then repair the leak. I would also expect that work to be warrantied against future leaks for a reasonable time to be sure the leak has been fixed (three to six months).
