I had a tooth with a crown that was infectedDrFeltzer (my family dentist) referred me to an oral surgeon who found that after drilling into my crown the tooth was unfortunately not able to be savedSo I was referred back to DrFeltzer's office at MICHIANA DENTAL CARE
I was having a lot of pain and was very uncomfortableDrFeltzer's office took over a week to get me in to get my tooth pulledOn the morning of my appointment one of the staff members called me and stated my appointment would cost $(my insurance did not cover the whole charge)Unfortunately I explained to them that my husband was on his way to pick me up from work (I work night shift as a nurse) and I did not have my purse with meI was told I could not be seen that day without payment
I was pretty surprised that I was just now getting a phone call about the payment and asked to speak with the doctorI was refused though I was allowed to speak with the office Manager StephanieI proceeded to tell Stephanie of my predicamentShe then reinforced that I would not be able to be seen and that staff had called me on the 20th of October telling me I would need to bring $ This is not trueI never received a phone call and even was willing to show them my cell phone records as proof
My God it was $29.00! I had no balance on my accountI am still having pain and discomfort but they would not see me! DrFeltzer evidentially does not care about his patientsHe even dismissed me from their practice because I was complaining (I would not have gone back anyways)
I was lied to and treated like a second class citizenI don't believe that DrFeltzer cares about his patientsIt's all about the moneyIf you want care and compassion don't go to MICHIANA DENTAL CARE!!!
