gate, I informed her that I would do my best to fix the issue in the next two weeks.  Due to prior scheduling dates and project commitments, I was unable give her an exact date to repair it in that time frame.The client did try to contact me once more to repair the gate.  I was unable to answer my phone when she called, and subsequently forgot to call her back.  A few weeks later when my schedule permitted, I stopped by her residence and repaired her gate.  The client was present when I finished the repair.  At that time I told her I had no intention of abandoning her project.  In fact, I  was not even aware that she had filed a complaint until afterwards.  Upon completion, the client verbalized that she was satisfied with the operation of the gate.Thank you,[redacted]Jeff's Handyman Services, LLC

Review: Handyman hired to replace boards and repair gate to front deck. Handyman did replace the boards and resurfaced the deck as originally agreed to but the gate was not repaired. Final check was collected and handyman left job site with gate not operational. I have contacted Jeff twice - the first call I was told it wouldn't take long to repair and when I requested a date/time I was told that wasn't necessary it would only take an afternoon to make the repair and it would be completed within the next two weeks. He refused to give me a date/time. The second contact was 1 week later - left voice message for him to please contact me regarding date/time for gate repair - no response. 3 weeks have gone by and gate is not operational.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the gate repaired as originally agreed. Gate will need to be repaired and the stain will need to be touched-up to cover any construction issues.
