I purchased a leftover Ram from Crowfoot Dodge in Calgary after finding it on a price comparison websiteThe website I used claimed the vehicle to be over priced and the salesman said they could match the "fair market value" price that the website was statingLater however, the salesman back peddled and said that in fact they could not match that priceI stayed in contact and came to agree upon a different price which was still lower than their original asking priceI had them run my credit and discussed options regarding interest and down payments and we came to an agreementI put a deposit down and scheduled a time to travel down and purchase the vehicleAfter travelling the hours to Calgary I met with the salesman upon my arrival, saw the truck, really liked it and I was happy with the terms we had discussedI waited for about minutes in the lobby for the finance managerThe salesman then lead me into the back room to deal with the finance managerThe finance manager quoted me a much higher interest rate than was given to me by the salesmanI said that wasn't the agreed upon rate and he told me that the rate I was given was through a local credit union and was available only to Calgary residents, which they knew full well I was not as I had to travel nearly 1200km to make the purchaseI was very upset and told them I would absolutely not accept that rateI was ready to back out of the saleI was extremely aggravated as I had travelled all that way for nothing nowI saw the salesman outside and we chatted about the terrible back end dealing and I informed him I was walking out on the dealHe said to wait he'll have a talk with the manager and the finance guyAfter more waiting he asked me to come back into the finance office because they had found me a more acceptable rateThe new rate still wasn't as good as the original but much better than what had been quoted when I arrivedI couldn't understand why the finance manager hadn't given me that option in the first place after I told him the rate was unacceptableNow with this new rate I told him I wanted to put $downAt that point he told me if I put that down my rate would increase significantlyI know that's a lieIf anything a lesser borrowed amount should lower the rateI knew they would make more money off the financing if they had me borrow more money By this point I was lividI had travelled all this way and these guys were totally jerking me aroundFinally after arguing, he agreed to let me put $down and get the acceptable interest rateI reluctantly accepted as I did really like the truckFine, I own the truck, but the issues continueIssue #1: The paperwork stated the truck had km on itThe truck actually only had 217km on itThe finance manager shrugged it off saying it was in my favour so no problem right, even though fudging sales paperwork is actually a crimeIssue #2: I arranged to have the truck undercoated before I arrivedWhen I arrived in High Level I noticed my $400+tax undercoat job was coming off everywhereIssue #3: A few weeks later I noticed the headlight was loose in its socketI removed the light and once it was out I noticed all the tabs were broken off it, it had body fill on it and there was paint over-spray all over the margins of itI contacted the general sales manager and explained my issue stating the truck had clearly been in an accident and it was not disclosed to meHis response was "here's the clean car proof pulled yesterday" and attached the reportI think anyone could tell from seeing the paint over-spray and body fill that this truck had been repairedAnd obviously they didn't go through the proper channels to have it repairedI contacted [redacted] and they put me in touch with the Operations Manager He stated there wasn't really anything he could do unless I brought the truck inI told him I'm 1200km away and I only have one headlight, I absolutely cannot bring the truck inHe said he understood and he couriered a new headlight up the next day and I installed itI thought that would fix things but looking at the fender it's definitely filled with body fill and distortedI can see the shotty bodywork and the unstraight lines on the fenderThe headlight doesn't sit properly against it and it doesn't match the other sideI could not get time off from work to travel down to have them look at it as it was not going to be a quick fix so I had to live with itNow months later the body fill is cracking and separating from the fenderThe truck has 000kms on it and needs the fender replaced due to an accident that this dealership covered upThis was hands down the worst purchasing experience I can even imagineThese guys had absolutely zero professionalism and furthermore are actually breaking the lawIt's sad people can treat customers like thisThese people should have their dealer license revoked

Absolutely terrible service from the service department at this dealershipMy husband and I own a dodge ram with uprades making our vehicle worth nearly $90,It is still under warranty and we have had nothing but problems getting the vehicle fixed at this locationOur 4th visit including leaving our primary vehicle overnight each time has resulted in complete incompetencyIt was basically an issue with our door handle not locking the truck when the alarm sounds (indicating it locking) making this a security issueWe picked it up today and its still not working They failed to call us back on our third visit afyer leaving the vehicle overnight again and not reaponding to our five phone calls all dayOn our second visit they failed to detect our problem with the locks and ignored our personal experiance as proof they werent working until our third visit to get our tires rotated and one of the tech had it happen to him and they finally decided to take action
We will never go back nor would we buy a vehicle there

Bought an extended warranty from dodge for my Dodge Ram, brought it in twice for pinion sealPinion seal not fixed (they said it was something else), and is spraying oil on the vehicle undersidesWhat is the point of an extended warranty when it's not honoured by the dealer?

I purchased a leftover 2015 Ram 2500 from Crowfoot Dodge in Calgary after finding it on a price comparison website. The website I used claimed the vehicle to be over priced and the salesman said they could match the "fair market value" price that the website was stating. Later however, the salesman back peddled and said that in fact they could not match that price. I stayed in contact and came to agree upon a different price which was still lower than their original asking price. I had them run my credit and discussed options regarding interest and down payments and we came to an agreement. I put a deposit down and scheduled a time to travel down and purchase the vehicle. After travelling the 12 hours to Calgary I met with the salesman upon my arrival, saw the truck, really liked it and I was happy with the terms we had discussed. I waited for about 45 minutes in the lobby for the finance manager. The salesman then lead me into the back room to deal with the finance manager. The finance manager quoted me a much higher interest rate than was given to me by the salesman. I said that wasn't the agreed upon rate and he told me that the rate I was given was through a local credit union and was available only to Calgary residents, which they knew full well I was not as I had to travel nearly 1200km to make the purchase. I was very upset and told them I would absolutely not accept that rate. I was ready to back out of the sale. I was extremely aggravated as I had travelled all that way for nothing now. I saw the salesman outside and we chatted about the terrible back end dealing and I informed him I was walking out on the deal. He said to wait he'll have a talk with the manager and the finance guy. After more waiting he asked me to come back into the finance office because they had found me a more acceptable rate. The new rate still wasn't as good as the original but much better than what had been quoted when I arrived. I couldn't understand why the finance manager hadn't given me that option in the first place after I told him the rate was unacceptable. Now with this new rate I told him I wanted to put $10 000 down. At that point he told me if I put that down my rate would increase significantly. I know that's a lie. If anything a lesser borrowed amount should lower the rate. I knew they would make more money off the financing if they had me borrow more money. By this point I was livid. I had travelled all this way and these guys were totally jerking me around. Finally after arguing, he agreed to let me put $4000 down and get the acceptable interest rate. I reluctantly accepted as I did really like the truck. Fine, I own the truck, but the issues continue. Issue #1: The paperwork stated the truck had 1585 km on it. The truck actually only had 217km on it. The finance manager shrugged it off saying it was in my favour so no problem right, even though fudging sales paperwork is actually a crime. Issue #2: I arranged to have the truck undercoated before I arrived. When I arrived in High Level I noticed my $400+tax undercoat job was coming off everywhere. Issue #3: A few weeks later I noticed the headlight was loose in its socket. I removed the light and once it was out I noticed all the tabs were broken off it, it had body fill on it and there was paint over-spray all over the margins of it. I contacted the general sales manager and explained my issue stating the truck had clearly been in an accident and it was not disclosed to me. His response was "here's the clean car proof pulled yesterday" and attached the report. I think anyone could tell from seeing the paint over-spray and body fill that this truck had been repaired. And obviously they didn't go through the proper channels to have it repaired. I contacted [redacted] and they put me in touch with the Operations Manager. He stated there wasn't really anything he could do unless I brought the truck in. I told him I'm 1200km away and I only have one headlight, I absolutely cannot bring the truck in. He said he understood and he couriered a new headlight up the next day and I installed it. I thought that would fix things but looking at the fender it's definitely filled with body fill and distorted. I can see the shotty bodywork and the unstraight lines on the fender. The headlight doesn't sit properly against it and it doesn't match the other side. I could not get time off from work to travel down to have them look at it as it was not going to be a quick fix so I had to live with it. Now 10 months later the body fill is cracking and separating from the fender. The truck has 13 000kms on it and needs the fender replaced due to an accident that this dealership covered up. This was hands down the worst purchasing experience I can even imagine. These guys had absolutely zero professionalism and furthermore are actually breaking the law. It's sad people can treat customers like this. These people should have their dealer license revoked.
