Review: On August 28, 2014 I purchased materials from [redacted] upon the recommendation of a contractor who was hired to do repairs.The contractor stole my money without completing the work and [redacted] was made aware of this situation for he has done business with this contractor.I hired someone else to finish,some of the purchased materials needed to be exchanged and/or returned.[redacted] refunded money on 9/8/14 and 9/9;however on 9/24 when trying to return 4 boxes of unneeded joint compound and other materials,I was refunded money on everything except the four boxes of unneeded materials.My new contractor had original receipt and materials intact.When I called [redacted] on 9/24 he told me that he doesn't do refunds as of today. I feel that I was unfairly treated when trying to make a return within a 30 day period. There is no reference of return policy on the receipt.I have all the receipts where money was refunded and original receipt[redacted] also informed me that had the contractor who stole my money would have completed the work,he would have used all the materials.My new contractor informed me that some of the materials purchased were not needed or needed to be exchanged for actual materials needed to complete the repairs.I have attached a copy of original receipt showing items returned for refund and not refunded.Desired Settlement: I would prefer a refund of the money for materials not needed, and an opportunity use refunded money toward purchase of materials actually needed to complete the repairs.
