Thank you for allowing me to respond to this complaint.On 11/18/this customer came into our office saying they found some sort of small animal in a bottle of water that they purchasd the last time they were in our officeThey had a small cup with a small animal in itThey didn't have a bottle They said that they dumped out the waterThe customer was visibly unhappyWe apologized that this happened and suggested that it would be best if they would have brought the bottle with the water and foreign item in itWe could have returned it to the company that bottles the water for their inspection and testingWe offered two bottles of water and no charged and apologized again for the problemThey were not completely satisfied, but took the free bottles and water and leftOn 11/25/this customer emailed our home office at 10:AM saying that he had a bottle of water had some sort of fish or worm in it and that there were two other bottles which he had in his possessionWe answered that email on 11/25/at 12:with an apology and stated that we weren't the manufacturer, only a distributor of the productOur rep gave the customer his phone number and extension and the phone number for the bottlerHe didn't receive a return email or phone callOn 11/25/another one of reps heard of the complaint and called the customerHe spoke with his wife and again apologized for the situationShe said that bottles had some sort of animal in themWe gave her the phone number for the supplier and offered two more bottles at no chargeWe offered to replace all of the bottles that they had in their possessionShe said she would talk to her husbandA short time later, the customer called backWe reiterated our offer and offered to deliver the water to himHe said that he wanted to keep the bottlesWe asked if we could do anything else and he said no, and that he was calling the bottlerOn 11/26/our rep made a follcall to the customer and was told that he had called the bottler and was waiting for a return call from them and thanked usOn 11/26/I was made aware of the situation, but was not aware of all of the other communications with different repsI called the customer and left a message on his answering maching and emailed him at 12:PM asking him to call me and discuss the problemI left my email address and phone number and extensionI didn't received a return email or phone call at this pointOn 12/3/the customer brought empty bottles, one opened but 3/full bottle, and unopened bottleHe had a cup with two more small animals in itTwo of the empty bottles had leaves in them, the other opened bottles didn't have anything foreign it them and the unopened bottle had nothing foreign in itThey requested a refund and we are processing thatForeign items in bottles are not a common occurrenceSeveral representatives of our company have either talked to this customer or have attempted to talk to himSeveral reps have offered refunds, free water, and apologiesI know that our customer didn't think that our initial response to his situation was satisfoctory, but we have continued to try to resolve the situationI think that we've tried to correct the problem in the appropriate wayI'm not sure that there is any possibility of this happening, but I would hope to retain this person as a valued customer.Sincerely, [redacted]
