If you're looking for quality customer service, I'd urge you to look elsewhere. I had a tree fall down onto my house and car during a storm. My then homeowner's insurance company referred me to Jenkins Restoration for the home repairs. What I learned after going back and forth over the weeks it took to get the job done is that they prefer to deal with claims that will be paid by the insurance company. My claim was "small" and therefore I was to issue the payment to Jenkins rather than my insurance company. I'd guess that if you were dealing with a large, expensive claim to be paid by the insurance company, Jenkins would be happy to take care of you in a timely manner. This, unfortunately, wasn't my reality. I can deal with things taking longer or taking a backseat to the jobs that bring in the money but all I'd ask is to be told upfront. That was the most upsetting part about dealing with this company, I had to call and get heated with someone for them to tell me any information. Like when someone would come to the house, for example. They'd tell me someone was coming, no one came, I call and get upset, and someone finally comes. That was the cycle, over and over. They never offered up any updates or information. When the worker finally did come, he left trash floating around my yard and dripped paint down the side of the house. He didn't initially fix the paint, I had to call and tell them to come back. I was even once told I was being disrespectful when issuing complaints. Saying something negative about your company and the way you've handled my case is not the same as being disrespectful. If you don't have an interest in hearing my complaints and concerns, then you've just beautifully illustrated my point about the lack of effective customer service. I just find it upsetting that Jenkins Restoration made me (and I'm sure other customers) feel as if they don't matter and their job isn't important. That's not what I'm looking for in a service company.
