Jennings Law Offices, LLC Reviews (2)

I am rejecting this response because:Attorney jennings was supposed to file motions, get me a protection order, etc.  He never emailed me back and he never even sent discovery to the other party after he said that he did.  He never even told the court hes my attorney.  He bills at 150 an hour and the only thing I feel he did do was go to court on the 14.  Then he came out after 5 minutes and told me to remove the cameras that are protecting my property.  Then bills me for 1.5 hours of service.  He can walk to the courthouse from his office.  Its only a block away.   He is completely unresponsive and I had to turn him into the Revdex.com to get this response.  I didnt even know whether or not he was coming to court on july 14 until my witnesses husband called him to ask him as he never responded to anything.  He obviously came unprepared and never read an email I sent because when asked where my cameras were pointed he did not know.  He never even said my client is out in the hall, let me go get her.  For him to keep my 1000.00 retainer is fraud to say the least.

(Revdex.com Copied from original document. See attached file.)August 29, 2016  Ms. [redacted]Revdex.com[redacted]Akron, Ohio 44303 RE: [redacted] Revdex.com ID [redacted] Dear Ms. [redacted]: Thank you for contacting me with regard to the above-referenced complaint. I...

appreciate the opportunity to respond and, hopefully, to resolve this matter to everyone’s satisfaction. As a preliminary matter, I would inform you that Ms. [redacted] also filed the same complaint with Disciplinary Counsel at the Supreme Court of Ohio. At the risk of defending myself twice on the same matters, it is my hope that both complaints can be resolved to the satisfaction of Ms. [redacted]. In response to Ms. [redacted]’s statement, I would note that she actually consulted with me on four (4) civil matters: her tort complaint she had previously filed pro se against her neighbor; her tort complaint she had previously filed against her former neighbor at a former residence; her consumer complaint she had already initiated against her mortgage company; and an inquiry about obtaining a restraining order against her current neighbor. Each case was presented at various times, such that they had a cumulative effect. It appears that the crux of the complaint is a refund of her retainer deposit. Ms. [redacted] probably does not understand the amount of time I spent on her case in reviewing the materials she presented and preparing for the (then) upcoming hearings. Pursuant to the attached billing, I have spent 12.7 hours on Ms. [redacted]’s matters for an aggregate bill of $1,650.00. I would be willing to try to work out a reasonable resolution if it is possible. Since the other matters raised in her statement appearing to be of lesser importance to her and, perhaps, better addressed in her complaint to Disciplinary Counsel, I do not trouble you with a response here. However, I would be happy to address them if necessary to fully resolve this matter. Sincerely, Jonathan ** Jennings Attorney at Law JPJ Encl: client billing
