In response to a complaint filed with you from a Ms***.Our apologies for wasting your time on this matterThe refund that was requested was sent to the customer some time ago and they should be receiving it any day nowIn our business, all of our shoes are made to order in-house, as a result
our waiting list can become quite long at timesWe always try to communicate with our customers as to the progress of their order, but in a world where companies like *** are producing and filling orders the same day, people have grown accustomed to receiving things nowIn the case when a customer simply doesn't want to wait we are happy to refund their purchase.In the complaint they state that we take the money for the order up front which is not true, we simply request a 50% deposit to cover the costs for our production, which is more than reasonableIn the case of this particular order, they were gift cards that were purchased which is a bit differentWe allow the customer to put any amount they would like on the card and then allocate that toward their purchaseThis is the first time we have ever had to refund a gift card and we were unfamiliar with the best way to go about this, especially since our system does not allow us to process refunds after something like or days, so we are forced to either send a transfer through a 3rd party system or mail a cashier's check, which is what we did in this caseWe still have no guarantee that someone won't try to use these gift cards in the future but at this point we are just trying to return the money to Mr***.We have been running our shop for nearly three years now and have hundreds of very happy customers.Please let us know if you require any more informationWe are happy to provide it to you.Kind Regards,***
