Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I have pictures of the band on the diamond and it was not thin and worn In fact, it was almost double the size of the wedding band In fact, when we went home to Cleveland, Oh I did have a jeweler look at the rings and they said the diamond band was stretched and a piece of gold was in the wedding band I was not combative when I went in That man was very nasty and very loud I had the nerve to shut up? Hmm, what does she think I should have done Here is the thing, this doesn't surprise me in the least We have been here for over five years now and this is exactly the way that businesses here hand these situations They seem to think that we have no other options By the way, I didn't say it was Guthries, I said it was Jenny's, goes to show you just how well she read the complaint It is not important that they pay for anything as I have already paid to have the botched job repaired, at home Here is the thing though, this being a small town goes both ways I will steer anyone away from this store anytime I have the chance Sad really, considering my husband bought a diamond necklace from them for a Christmas present last year I appreciate your time, Revdex.com Regards, [redacted]

Aug 2015To Whom It May Concern:I am Jenny W***, and I own Jenny's JewelryIt is not Guthrie Jewelry, like the emails were sent toThe customer should have known this it was on her receipt said Jenny's Jewelry. On June the customer brought her wedding set in to be sized, My employee
took the rings in and we were to size them from 3/to a size The wedding set was old and the shanks were very thin and wornI ask at that time if she would like to have them welded together it would have made the rings heavier and would have worn better than rubbing back in forthShe stated she did not want them soldered together My jeweler took the rings and he cut a piece of gold to fit both bandsThey reason they are thin is because you cannot make a shank wider (or thinner) than what the ring is originallyThey were thin to begin withIf a band is only mm in width you can make it largerThe shank will only be has big or little in width as the original band.I suggest the customer take the rings to a qualified jewelerWhen the customers take them to the jeweler he will put the heat on the shanks and the jeweler is able to see the piece of gold that my jeweler inserted on both bands. The customer was already ready combative when she came in to get her ringsMrGuthrie tried to talk to her and tell her what he didShe had the never shut up! Her husband never said a single word. She didn't want to pay the ring sizing I feel this was the whole problemThere will be no refundThe customer wants the work done for nothingI'm NOT her banker. She stated at the beginning when she initially asked for the work to be done on her rings not to stretch her ringsI firmly believe she had it in her head all long that we were going to stretch her ringsIf you look at those two bands there is no way they would have stretched a whole size plusThey would have broken! We do not stretch any rings more than Vof a size and it is usually a solid band with no stones. There will be no refund and I will not pay for someone else to redo the job we didShe can bring the rings back in and we will put the heat to the shank and take out the pieces we inserted and she can take it to whomever she would like, Sincerely, Jenny W***
