I purchased a storkcraft Glider recentlyThe chair base was made incorrectly and there was no threading in the holes where you screw the chair togetherIncluded with the chair is a yellow piece of paper asking you DO NOT RETURN TO STORE we will replace any defective partsWell, weeks later I cannot get anyone to send me the defective baseThey are making me take pictures, send invoices multiple times, gather data from the chair and giving me a huge run aroundThis company does not even have a manager available via phone to speak with only a voicemailThey request you do not return their product ( as at mo pregnant who can really get a chair to the post office) but they are unwilling to stand behind their work

I received a Stork Craft glider and ottoman set as a baby shower gift, and although I hate to complain about anything that I received as a gift, I feel so strongly about this that I needed to post a review The product was shipped to me at my home Although it was reasonably easy to assemble, it was missing the arm pads There was a yellow notice included with the assembly information â this stated that if any parts were missing or damaged, you should contact Stork Craft directly rather than the store it was purchased from Although I made several attempts, I was never able to get through to anyone on the phone (the closest I got was when, after being on hold for over minutes, it rang several times then dumped me right back into â holdâ ) I finally got a response via email and, after several rounds of back-and-forth communication, they finally agreed to send the missing parts Overall, I have been extremely disappointed with the customer service, but thatâ s nothing compared to the poor quality of the merchandise Sure, it looks nice at first glance, but it doesnâ t take long to notice that the padding is thin (especially the seat padding, which is the most important), the moving parts are cheap (they already creak, even after oiling), and it doesnâ t feel like a sturdy piece of furniture If/when this set fails, Iâ m not even going to bother trying to get them to cover it under warranty â Iâ m just going to purchase something entirely different

But even with pictures of damage sent and requests for supervisor the foreign lady on the phone REFUSED to get me to anybodyJust says "leave a message" (which I have done) and also refuses to give me her name or employee IDThis is seriously the biggest nightmare to have weeks before baby is due!!!
