My wife and I just wanted to say how pleased we are with our experience with Jensen Plumbing and Heating.
Our water heater sprung a leak dousing the burner flame on December 23rd. Since we're fairly new homeowners on top of trying to get ready for having family on Christmas eve, we really didn't have time to "figure" this out right away. Over Christmas, friends told us that we could go to chain-store places, like Menards, and that they would get everything set up for us. That was not the case.
We did go to the "chain" store and after the let-down of us still having to figure things out, we purchased a water heater once the holiday rush was over. We were left with trying to figure out who to have install it. Again, being new to this, we followed the directions of the chain store and looked at the business cards they had displayed for the various contractors. There was a card for Jensen and another company out of Lake Mills. I did some internet searching on both companies and found Jensen was affiliated with the Revdex.com, the Revdex.com being a trusted source for us.
We decided to contact Jensen. [redacted] answered the phone and helped us through the initial next step. He reassured us that if the water heater was delivered timely, they'd be out the same day to install it.
As instructed, we recontacted Jensen after the chain store delivered the water heater. As promised, Jensen had a man out to look at our situation. Our tech ([redacted]) determined that the water heater we purchased was going to be too tall to fit in its needed location. He did some checking with [redacted] to see what they could help. They had a short tank in stock, so we decided to gamble and take our purchased tank back for a refund and have Jensen deliver and install theirs. The benefits just out way us going any other route. [redacted] gave us a quote on the heater and install.
By this point, [redacted] had left [redacted] and I to work things out as he left. When we the agreement was laid out, [redacted] said he would talk to [redacted] and see if he'd be willing to come back and install the water heater for us. Given that it was almost 4pm on a Friday evening by this point, we figured we'd have to wait out the weekend. Well, I got the call from [redacted] that [redacted] was already out the door and on his way.
[redacted] was very thorough in his work and had the heater installed in no time. Given that we live in an old house, I was afraid [redacted] would be with us all night - but that was not the case. He did an awesome job!
We were just elated that [redacted], late on a Friday, was willing to help us and our two small children get life back to normal in this old house.
Our overall experience with Jensen Plumbing and Heating was exceptional and we will not only use them again, but will make our referrals as well. We love that they are local and that they treated us like customers are suppose to be treated.
