Attention Revdex.com,Recently Jensen's Appliance Repair received a complaint from the Revdex.com for a service call we performed on The week of May 7th for *** *** @ *** *** *** Nikiski, AK Attached you will find a copy of the invoice pertaining to this service callJensen's Appliance has served the Kenai Peninsula for over years providing quality service with very few complaintsJensen's has been a privately owned company throughout its entiretyOur service technicians have operated in the same professional manner through out the years providing diagnosis and repair of appliancesJensen's standard service call rate is $which covers the service call/initial diagnosis of the customers appliance problem(s) + taxWhich in this case was outside city limits being 3% tax to a total of $Our office received a call from *** *** requesting a technician to fix a dishwasherThe office staff proceeded to explain our service rate for troubleshooting appliancesThey agreed to the service call fee at that time so we proceeded to schedule our technicianWe responded on site that same week(It is usually next day scheduling).I Randy H*** the owner of Jensen's Appliance Repair personally handled this call and remember the events clearlyOn arrival to the home I the technician was greeted by *** and Son, whom proceeded to show me to the applianceThey explained their problem of the *** dishwasher not getting waterI understood their problem and proceeded to troubleshoot the dishwasher.Upon inspection I identified the problem as being a timer issueI identified the unit manufacture and model numberI let the customers both know how to properly operate the dishwasher if they chose to still use it, until I was able to let them know more about the part/costsBack at the office I provided the necessary information of the unit to properly locate the part numberI was then provided with costing and availability for the partI added the part cost to the work order and proceeded to discuss it with *** ***At which point the customer chose not to replace the part**The service call was complete at this point and I proceeded to receive payment for the service call at our standard rate discussed with the customer prompting the service call**As you can see on our invoice the quote for the part was scratched out (no longer needed)The timers retail price was $we quoted $which included shipping and handlingSo with a service call of $to diagnose this issue + part, it is a total of $this isn't even including installation fees, in which Jensen's rates and estimated hours for device/part installation is based on The Major Appliance Service National Price Guide BookNo need to tally up the bill they declined fixing the dishwasher, due to the cost of the timerJensen's Appliance will NOT REFUND our service call rate of $We fulfilled our agreement to troubleshoot the appliance and provided a solutionWe let our customers know before hand (It's the customers right to choose our proposal for the part and labor cost to replace it or find another part procurement and installation solutionUnless they would rather replace the unit.)Jensen's Appliance is asking that this UN-warranted complaint be terminated and deleted from any public files under the Revdex.com umbrellaPlease send a response to our requested response from the Revdex.com on this complaint as Jensen's Appliances has honored the Revdex.com requests.Jensen's Appliance RepairP.OBox *** Kenai, AK 99611Randy H*** *** ***
