5/26/ I sold my house and continued to live in it by leasing it back The AC went out soon after selling my house but the new homeowner purchased a home warranty before buying the home This home warranty company contacted Jeremy’s Air conditioning & Heating to perform the service Repairman [redacted] called me he was coming and was rude on the phone by being short with me He arrived and listened to the AC unit outside for approxseconds and immediately said the unit has been broke for a long time and made up his mind that the warranty company should not pay He did this within seconds of arriving and just by listening to my unit I said the house has just been inspected by the new buyers and it was not broke He said we must have filled the unit with Freon before the inspector came out so that it would cool I then stood there watching him work in my backyard as he took apart the cover and he said “does your boss stand behind you when you work”? How rude of him to make such a comment I guess he did not like me watching him He said it is against the law to watch him while he works I told him I have watched many repairmen work on my homes over the years and have never been told I cannot watch them I told him I might learn something by watching him He went upstairs into the attic for minutes and came down and said the coil is leaking and he would turn it into the warranty company The warranty company later said they would not cover the repair because it was an old problem before the warranty contract was purchased They said the coil in the attic was rusted and leaking as described by JohnI wrote a letter to the homeowners and said how [redacted] had already made up his mind that the AC should not be covered by the warranty before he went into the attic and lied about the rusted coil The homeowners contested the assessment and the warranty company called out another AC company who said there was a loose wire and a valve cap loose and fixed the unit They found no leaking coil in the attic and no rusted coil [redacted] at Jeremy’s AC was incompetent and rude

I requested air conditioning service through my extended home protection warranty and Jeremy's Air Conditioning & Heating was sent The technician came out on a Friday and said I needed a motor for my air conditioner and when I asked him how long it would take to get the motor his comment to me was he would have to check but if I was in a hurry I could call someone else I told him it was a valid question so there was no need for the attitude I also asked if he would call when the motor came in so that I could make sure someone was at my home and he agreed I receive a call on Monday at 12:17pm telling me that he is on his way to my house, I inform him that no one was there because he was supposed to call to let me know when the motor came in and he would be coming back I asked to set it up for the next morning and again he agreed only to call me back minutes later and ask how quickly could I get someone out to my house because he needed to do it that day I left work to meet his 2:pm timeline When he came and replaced the motor he started telling me that I needed to change my filters at least once a month and when I told him I already do that, he stated there is a filter in the air conditioning unit in the attic that also needs to be changed once a month I told him this is the first time I ever heard that and that is when he started with I need to get a maintenance agreement so that they could come out every month and check my air conditioning When I told him then what was the point of having a home protection warranty, he stated that they are not there for maintenance and that if he denied my claim I would have to pay for the repairs myself I told him I would be talking to my warranty company about what he is saying and his next statement was “they will not care if you leave them” Before he left I asked him if everything was working now and he said yes The next morning I noticed the house was getting hotter instead of cooling down so I tried to contact him throughout the whole day and he would not answer my calls until around 6:pm that night I told him the situation and he told me he would be out the next morning I had my dad come to the house to let him in and after fixing the problem he told my dad that a lizard got into the wires and shorted them out, but if I had a maintenance agreement that would have been caught My dad told him to give me a call before leaving and to go around with him to check to see if the air is flowing from the vents He told my dad I already talked to her, which he had not, picked up his tools and left My dad called me to tell me what had happened and I immediately called the repairman on his cell phone I asked him did he check the system this time with my dad and he said yes, he then continued the conversation with telling me what happened and again that I need to get a maintenance agreement that would prevent stuff like this from happening I told him you were supposed to have repaired my air conditioner Monday so you should have caught this if you checked and fixed it correctly He hung up on me When I called the company main number to report his rudeness, the same technician answered so I have requested that this person and the company he works/possibly owns never be sent to my home again
