First we would like to start off with apologizing for any miscommunication. I want to address a few topics that were mentioned by [redacted]. We do not offer “Lifetime Guarantee”, we offer a one year warranty that encompasses everything. We have many products that have a manufactures lifetime...

warranty. With regards the sheet rock that needs to be done in the basement, we have several policies and procedures in place to try to make sure our customers are completely satisfied with all of the remodeling that takes place in our clients homes. One of the procedures that we have in place is called a “completion certificate”. When the job is done, the assigned project manager walks the client through the job to make sure our customers are happy and all items on agreement are completed. [redacted] signed this completion certificate 11/05/2014. The end of September 2017 [redacted] contacted Jericho Home Improvements about the Drywall repair that needed to be done. After a few phone calls we realized that both Jericho and homeowner had “missed” the patching of drywall work in the basement. Even though the first time we had heard about the drywall not being patched and almost three years after the project was closed. Although the project is out of warranty we believe the right thing to do is fix the problem. Jericho has been in contact with [redacted] and made an appointment to rectify the situation. The drywall will be done at no additional charge. We are scheduled to do the work the week of January 15th.

In this case this resolution is fine. However I was told in my living that I had a lifetime guarantee which makes more sense when you are working on someone’s lifetime house. I am just worried due to past issues that I had to have them come fix that this one year warranty is not sufficient. I will always fix wear and tear issues with my own money but I feel if it’s negligence on the part of the company and can be proven they should always be fixed.
