We have received information from the Revdex.com in regards
to a requested refund of a mattress which was delivered on June 20, 2015.  We apologize for any miscommunication or inconvenience
which may have occurred.
 
After review of your account, we did offer to pick-up the
bedroom set for a refund due to the issues which had occurred.  At the time of this approval we did make you
aware this did not include the mattress.
 
All of our mattress sales are final and are non-returnable
once the item is physically delivered to your residence.
 
We have all of our consumers sign a separate receipt just
for mattresses to make them aware of our specific policy on mattresses.
 
We do understand your frustration; however, we will not be
able to comply with your request of refund on this mattress. 
 
The mattress on your invoice is a mattress we sell with any
of our beds and can be used on another bed which you may purchase in the
future.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Jerome's contacted us by phone and offered to refund our purchase price, minus the initial delivery charge.  The delivery charge was $89.99.  We do not accept an offer in which we still lose money on defective merchandise.  As stated in our initial complaint, we purchased the protection plan and would have accepted repair.  Since Jerome's will not repair the product, we should get all of our money back, which totals $752.87.  
We have already lost money due to the fact that we gave away all of our old table linens and purchased new ones for the new table.

claim, [redacted] spoke with the consumer the end of May and are currently awaiting
pictures of the property damage to be sent directly to their office.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.HI I am [redacted] I missed the respond from my other email know body from jerome's furniture warehouse or their third party try too let know me what happy on fix my wood floor the following day after they deliver my sofa I call them and told that my floor was damage from the delivery I was told that someone will call me 24 to 48 hour that didn't happen so had go back to store and talk manager his name is [redacted]  and show picture of my damage floor he tool some of my picture from my cellphone he  the one that told me that I would get a call back  24 to 48  that I did not received so go back again and talk so he call delivery manager look I send picture on 05/29/2015  to email address  [redacted] i send her picture and  [redacted] is her name  I call three day later and ask did she look picture she said yes I said to her can see scratch in the floor she said yes but talk to her I wasting my time I don't think she have the experience  to know what talking on that floor the reason I said that I think her is getting delivery  out to people I don't think that never ever talk to someone from the insurance company I attach  letter TO WHO IT MAY CONCERN DOCK AT THE TOP LOOK AT IT  thank you

I contacted the customer directly in regards to this complaint.
 
I left a message at the phone number provided in the claim as well as sent an e-mail to the address listed on the claim.
 
$75 has been refunded to the Visa card on file for the...

delivery inconvenience.  We are unable to refund back the [redacted] Policy, since this policy is through a separate company.
 
The credit refund can take up to 7 business days to process onto the customer's account.
 
I have provided my direct contact information to the consumer should he have any additional questions or concerns.

In regards to this
claim, if the consumer can bring the seat cushion cores directly to our
Distribution Center located in Rancho Bernardo we can offer to use our own shop
foam to replace the seat cushion...

cores.
 
If the consumer can
bring then in, we can certainly get them repaired within 2 days to be able to
meet their July 31st deadline for their transfer.
 
If the cushions are
brought to one of our outlining stores, unfortunately it will take a week and a
half to have the cores replaced and sent back to the store.
 
If the customer would
like for us to use the shop foam, our Distribution Center hours are Monday
through Friday 10am-6pm, Saturday 10am-7pm and Sunday 11am-6pm.

In regards to this claim we are unable to locate any customer account based upon the customer's name, phone # or address.
I was unable to reach the customer on the phone # listed and we will send an e-mail to the e-mail address the customer provided to see if we can further...

assist the consumer.

In regards to this complaint, the consumer did speak with one of our supervisors at the [redacted] showroom in regards to the mattress.
The consumer already reselected to another mattress.  This mattress is in stock and the consumer advised he would be in this week to pay the pricing...

difference between the 2 mattresses.
We can gladly schedule him for delivery once the balance has been paid.

Jerome's employees were very helpful when we were looking to buy furniture. We did buy a living room couch and chair and was happy with the service, the furniture was delivered the next day. But my warning to anyone buying furniture on credit at Jerome's don't use their financing, *** ***, because if you don't pay the full amount, which we were told was interest free the first year, you will be hit with a 50% interest due when the year is up. That came as a shock to us and we called Jerome's but they couldn't help because after the transaction it is out of their hands. If you can use a credit card to buy your furniture, don't make the same mistake that we made.

This consumer’s

new selection was delivered yesterday.

I purchased a bedroom set from jeromes. The first attempt at delivery (same day) and the headboard had massive damage. The following day I never received an email as promised to provide me a new delivery time frame. Upon calling at 8am I was informed my delivery would be there between 11 am and 3 pm by a representative . Then received a call advising my financing was bumed and I could come in to make adjustments and have money refunded back (after being told I would not need to return ) when I asked about the delivery time I was advised between 7 pm and 11pm. I had previously informed them I would not be home late in the day and had taken time off work to correct their error.I was told there was nothing I could do except cancel delivery. So between pictures for my child and his bedtime I waited for my promised hour before phone call. I received a call 10 minutes prior to delivery. Not only do I have new damage to my door frames due to the drivers ramming into my walls and door there is trash all over my street. Their customer service is a joke. I won't be purchasing again!
