Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: This is true but pryer to me buying the vehicle they did work on the A/C unitso I feel they new the vehicle had problems when it was traded in, I don't think all the problems came up within the first 2000miles they were all ready there Regards, [redacted]

I have spoke to the customer as the GM and let him know why we are having issues getting the plates and he understands I let him know that it would take an additional 30-days and was truthful why it is taking so long with the previous customer getting the title He thanked me and I am updating him weekly on this issue

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: they sold us a car they didn't have the title to Isn't this illegal??? The vin says that a title was issued in July and sent to the lien holder in another state How is it legal for a business to sell something they do not own? Meanwhile we are paying for a car that we may or may not ever own Regards, [redacted]

Hello Mr. ***sI do have this 2013 Toyota 4Runner Limited 4x4 w/ 3rd row seat 39k miles in stock and ready for delivery. It seems to have everything your looking for. We can Sale it to you for $33,750 PLUS TTL. You can email me at [redacted]

The internet sales manager, *** ***, failed to honor an agreed upon price All negotiations were conducted via email over several days - after I test drove the vehicle and left the dealership *** *** made me an offer that stated tax title and license was included in the price I replied back to him, to confirm that TT&L is included in the offer, which he replied "yes" After I agreed upon a purchase price with *** ***, my wife and I started the process of having our bank transfer the funds to the dealership *** *** emails my wife, and says that the agreed upon price does NOT include TT&L, and that there was no way that they would agree to it However, I have all of the email traffic from *** *** that states otherwise On top of all of this, I am Active Duty military, recently returned from Afghanistan, and this dealership tried to scam my wife and I after they knew I was in the military My wife spoke with the General Manager about this situation, and h

The service Dept has failed to repair my vehicle timesBetween myself and the warrantee company we have paid thousands of dollars to fix the problemThe airbags were leaking on the suspension struts and the axles were torn and leaking, At first the warrantee company refused to cover anything and then later covered the parts but only in exchange for my canceling the contract, the dealership installed new after market conversion kit struts and new after market rebuilt axles Now the front end is higher than the rear end the airbag compresses run constantly and can be heard inside the vehicle and the back tires are out of camber, the axles have failed and now my second trip for repair, they replaced the axles and then they failed againMy third trip for repair, this time they said the higher front end is and the back tires out of camber is just fine, they said the axles have failed again but that its for after market parts and that I just need to get used to it and th

I understand mistakes do happenMy main issue with this situation is the failure of *** *** and Durant Toyota's GM to rectify the situation when given the opportunity soon after this mistake was identified. *** *** was short with me, and tried to make this my fault so my wife spoke to the GM who offered no attempt to keep our business. Only then did I elevate it to a Revdex.com complaint and a one star Yelp review. Now that I missed out on this vehicle, and a similar one at Vroom in Dallas (due to this situation); Durant Toyota wants respond in a way they should have minutes after their mistake was highlighted?I am still looking for a (clean title/non rental) ~year old 4runner with ~30k milesMust haves: 4wd, leather, 3rd row. *** *** should still have my email, but I still haven't heard back from him with an apology and acknowledgment of his mistake. I am willing to give Durant Toyota a second chance at earning my business, but I am not willing to play any games with the pricing

I bought a fj from them the first two weeks I had the vehicle the air stop working took it in they replaced the condenser,
went about three weeks the air stop again took it back and they said it was the evaporator they refused to fix it said it would cost me $1259.00, I have put around miles on the vehicle
when they checked it out they also told me the front end needed workI feel like these were pretexting problems that they new about and did not repair before resale I have bought four vehicles from them in the last two years I think they should be a little more concerted to return costumer

Mrand Mrs*** purchased their pre-owned Chrysler Town & Country from our dealership on March 15, Mrs*** in her complaint states "We drove it off the lot and on the way home had the transmission fail." However it was not until May 11, that she brought the
vehicle in with warning lights onShe was also in the dealership just prior to that on May 04, to have her complimentary first oil change completed and there were no warning lights or issue brought to the dealership's attention
The customer purchased an extended warranty for $2,at the time of purchaseAfter the warranty work was completed in May the amount of that repair was taken from the amount paid for the warrantyThis is why when the customer wanted to cancel it and get a refund there was not an amount owed back to the customer
The customer also had a conversation with the stores General Sales Manager in June of and explained to him that she was really only seeking to get reimbursed $1,because that is what was left on the loan for her car after it was totaledThe insurance company did not pay the loan off in full and the customer declined to purchase Gap Insurance at the time of the saleShe also admitted to our General Sales Manager she did not have the money to pay the loan off and felt the dealership owed her this money
Our dealership sold a pre-owned vehicle to a customer that was a six year old vehicle at the time of purchaseShe was offered an extended service contract on the vehicle which they did purchaseIt was by great fortune that the extended service agreement was purchased because it did help with repairing the transmission a couple months after purchaseThe vehicle was not defective as the customer states in the complaint, but instead ended up have an issue several months after delivery
I have attached the service records from the time that we completed the Used Car Inspection prior to sale, until the last time it was in the dealershipAll of the dates are highlighted

I have received the business response and I am glad they are going to install Lexus parts

On or about January 2016, I purchased a Chevrolet Corvette from Sales Representative Paul M*** (Jerry Auto Group *** *** *** *** *** ** ***)The experience was stressful, as at first he wanted to make the sale, and hurried the section where he presented the Carfax to meThe Carfax should a previous wreck on the vehicle, which he stated was very minor and shouldn’t be an issueWell I decided to trade in the car at another Chevrolet dealership locallyWhen they conducted a vehicle inspection of the vehicle, the representative asked me several questions as to my original purchaseHe added that although I still owe $23,for the car, the trade in value was $8,I was in deep shock, and asked why they offered so lowThe representative stated the vehicle should have never been sold to me, as the vehicle was unsafe and was currently considered a salvage vehicle with a salvage titleI was outraged and investigated a little furtherI went to a Mercedes dealership and was told the sameI recently contacted Paul M*** who refused to acknowledge such a claim, stating the vehicle passes inspectionI informed him that now there are several lights on my dash display, indicating there are issues with my tires, air deployment bags, and the car was unsafe since the day he sold it to meI felt he hide the truth and was deceptive in his saleAt the end of the conversation he too offered $11,for my vehicle as a trade inHe mentioned the vehicle showed depreciation in a one-year time spanM*** refused to assist me further with the matter and sent me away again in an unsafe carPrior to beginning legal action, I wanted to resolve the matter civilly, and offer the dealership an opportunity to make this rightI expected this type of deceptive businesses at smaller dealerships, but unfortunately I fell into this one!

Where do I begin Found a used vehicle here online I live hours away from the dealershipI talked with the sale rep placed a hold payment on the vehicle during the week and agreed to drive in that weekend to get the car, with the understanding that it was what was representedhours into my hour drive there to get the vehicle the sales rep calls me and tells me that they have found that the AC blower motor isn’t functioning properly, that they will replace it but the part has to be ordered and can’t be completed till the following weekI agreed to go ahead and continue my trip there to look at it and check it out knowing the AC issueWe get there agree to purchase the vehicle and they would repair the AC and meet me half way with the vehicle upon completion The following week we meet and take the car On our way back home we notice the AC is still not functioning properlyI call the sales rep and told him it was still not working and he said he would check with his peop

I purchased a Chrysler Town and Country from the dealership in March of and was assured it had passed a full inspection and was in full working orderWe drove it off the lot and on the way home had the transmission failWe took it back in to the dealership and explained that the transmission was not in good working order as was reported when we purchasedThey agreed to fix the vehicle and assured me that it would not be charged to the warranty we purchased since it was a malfunction present upon purchase that they missed before they sold us the vehicleIt took them almost months to return the vehicle and the whole time the service department stated that they and dodge were handling the issue and that this was a known defect that would be coveredWe were assured on multiple occasions our warranty would not be chargedThe vehicle was involved in a total loss claim in December and when we called back to the dealership to get the depreciated return value of our warranty,

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
The statements are not entirely accurateThe car did have transmission problems the day it was driven off the lotI will admit I am not a mechanic or vehicle expert, so although I knew there was a problem, it took me a few weeks to figure outI did mention the problem when it was brought in on May 4th, but there was no error code so they said there was not a problemWhen taken back in a week later I had finally diagnosed that the transmission error only occurred when driving with the High Beams onThat finally made since because when we were driving it home the first night, it was late and we had turned the lights on (not originally realizing we turned on the high beams)Again, it did take me a few weeks to finally diagnose the issue myself as I rarely drive at night and even more infrequently drive with high beams onEven when I finally took it back to the dealership again (after the May 4th visit where they claimed there were no defects), there was never a warning light indicating transmission failureIn fact, when I turned it into them, they inspected it and said there was no problem againI insisted that they keep the car and drive it with the high beams on, which they finally did and discovered the transmission defectI was told by one of their Service team members on multiple occasions, that since this was a defect it was going to be covered by Chrysler/DodgeOne of the Service Department staff, ***, was the person I worked the most withNow I do admit, I understood this was a year old car at the time with almost 75,miles, but both my husband and I were both told that it was a manufacturer's defect and that *** *** was working with the Dodge/Chrysler Dealer to fix the situationas you can see by the service records (which unfortunately I did not have copies of, they were lost in the vehicle when it was totaled), the dealership had the vehicle for almost a full monthsI was told on several occasions that the problem was with Dodge and that they ensured us we would be taken care ofI will admit they put me in one of their loaner vehicles during this time, but I was not able to resume my plans and travel arrangements as I did not want to put more than the minimum amount of mileage on a loaned vehicleIt also was without several of the features I had particularly purchased my Chrysler vehicle for
In addition, I never told the Service Manager at Jerry Durant that I could not afford to pay the difference owed upon the total loss of the vehicle, and have actually since this all began paid the balanceI do remember telling the Manager I felt that they needed to honor their promise that they originally made to us to fix the vehicle without claiming it under the warranty, especially given the circumstances that the vehicle had a defect when it was purchasedNow I do feel thankful that we purchased the Warranty plan, but had I known there was a defect when I bought the car, obviously would have never chosen that vehicle in the first place
I have escalated my complaint all the way to the Corporate Customer Service within both Toyota and Toyota Financial and they keep referring me back to the dealership saying it is not their problem

We had an absolute wonderful buying experience and will buy any future cars through Jerry Durant in Granbury Hal was wonderful and after phone call we told him what we were looking for in days he had it on the lot, we went up and drove it and within a couple of hours we were taking it home No hassle buying, we made the decision of what we wanted to pay down, they gave us a fair trade for our old Honda We love our new car and won't trade anywhere else Thanks Hal

Mr. [redacted] came into the service department on 10/14/2017 with a concern that his A/C was not cooling. ASM [redacted]  handled MR. [redacted] concern on this day. The tech found the A/C condenser to have a hole in it. The tech preformed an evac and recharge of the A/C system and added dye to...

the system. Using a Freon leak detector he was able to find Freon leaking from a hole in the front of the condenser. Mrs. [redacted], as a courtesy based on the fact that Mr. [redacted] had just bought the vehicle on September 26, 2017 requested assistance from the sales department for said needed repair. Jerry Durant Toyota used car department covered the cost of the repair at the sum of 462.14 based on the fact that damage to condenser could not be proven to be pre existing or not pre existing. Said condenser was replaced and Freon was filled. The A/C was cooling to spec when vehicle was returned to customer.    On November 6, 2017 Mr. [redacted] returned to our service department and stated that the A/C was not cooling again.  Mr. [redacted] was asked when the A/C had stopped cooling. He stated the A/C had worked until over the weekend and he had noticed that it was blowing warm. The vehicle was returned to the original tech that had replaced the condenser. The tech preformed an evac and recharge of the system adding dye as well. The tech along with our assistant manger using a Freon leak detector were unable to locate a leak in the engine compartment of vehicle. They also notice that the system was not holding pressure of Freon. Based on the fact the no leak was found in the engine area and the experience with A/C systems it was determined that the evaporator core is leaking. Mr. [redacted] was advised of the needed repair and time frame of needed repair. He asked if the dealership was going to take care of the bill. The information was discussed with General Sales Manger [redacted] the decision was that the dealership would not be assisting on needed repair. Mr. [redacted] informed the advisor  he would need to take another route as he did not have this type of money. Mr. [redacted] took possession of his vehicle and departed from the dealership. From, [redacted]Service manager

This seems to be a case in misunderstanding a price on a pre-owned vehicle. I reviewed all email history between Mr and Mrs [redacted]s and Salesperson [redacted]. I have also attached a PDF File with the email history for [redacted] at the Revdex.com. On the 2nd Page with the Durant Toyota Header : It states...

[redacted], Thank you for your inquiry on this 2013 Toyota 4Runner our best price is listed below : YOUR PRICE IS $34,786 plus TTL, VECICLE IN STOCK. No where through this email history is a "STATED PRICE THAT SAYS $xx,xxx includes TTL" like Mr [redacted]s has referred too? The only thing [redacted] sent was " YES " and that was implying price is plus TTL. Every online price on every online website states all pricing is PLUS TTL. Tax, Title and License goes to the State Of Texas there is no way around that. [redacted] and Durant Toyota did not fail to honor the price all pricing is plus TTL, again [redacted] and Durant Toyota did not make an offer that STATED TAX TITLE LICENSE was included in the price. This 4Runner has since been sold. I do have other pre-owned 4Runners in stock and ready for delivery at a great price plus TTL if MR and Mrs [redacted]s would like to resolve this matter.

Please review Durant Toyota's attachment, page 2 of 5.  I asked "Is that 34,7XX including TTL?".  [redacted] replied "Yes".  How is there any question or misunderstanding? Additionally, on page 1 of 5, I give an offer of "33786 including TT&L", and [redacted] replies back by saying "My GSM said he would go to $34,500.00".  I feel that this was intentional by [redacted].  Unfortunately, this caused us to miss out on a vehicle from another dealership because of the agreement with [redacted] shown in the email chain. I appreciate that Durant Toyota will like to try to make things right, but why was there no effort to make things right when my wife (Debbie) spoke with the General Manager?  People make mistakes.  If this was in fact a mistake by [redacted], it should have been stated as such, and he should have made an attempt to rectify the situation.  Instead, he was very short on the phone, and acted like this was my fault.  How is Durant Toyota going to rectify this situation?
