When the vehicle cane in it was under a no start condition We advised the customer what was needed and did say that there was a little noise coming from the lower end of the vehicle After repairs we returned the vehicle Customer returned the next day stating that they were having trouble keeping the vehicle started We checked the vehicle again and found that the main bearing is seized up on the engine Customer knew this was a problem as was stated in the invoice

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: the reply regarding the time I returned back to the shop is wrongI have my receipts where I paid within days of picking up the car the first timeI also have my phone log where I could show that I called the shop the same day that the car was pick up both times Regards, [redacted]

The sender and wiring repair was done on the week of 11/At that time there was no issue mechanically with oil pressure or noise from engineThe sender had failed and started to leak oil into harness we tried replacing sender and cleaning up oil mess but ended up having to replace pigtail as wellTruck was driven to [redacted] and back with no further issues at that timeIt has been months since this repair and had there been an oil pressure issue engine would have failed and locked up immediately not months laterWe tested oil presure at time of repair and it was fineThis is a coincidence that now months later we have a internal issue with engineWe will be happy to help you any way we can on repair but we do not feel responsible for the subsequent internal issue when all we did was replace a faulty leaking sensor

When the customer came in she did have a failed oil sending unit. We replaced it. Customer returned a few WEEKS later stating that the oil gauge was not working. We agreed to dio the vehicle for no charge. Found that the sending unit connector had an electrical fault.
We advised the customer and she agreed to pay for the connector. We test drive the vehicle over miles with no fault and returned it to the customer. A month later she called stating that she was getting noise from the engine. We told her to get it back asap, but she failed to do so. The vehicle had significant miles on it and we did advise the customer that at the time of the repair we were unable to see any issue further at that time
