I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The "gentleman" that quoted the repairs did not perforn the work quotedI have checked with other plumbing companies and have had the entire estimated job redone by another plumberThis company rep misquoted the jobThey know he didTheir employee was an elderly genteman, and obviously did not know how to repair, or how to estimate the proper repairOne gasket is not a $jobI have also never spoken with this woman or anyone at this company in regards to the original payment, nor did I ever at any time say I would pay the rebilled amountThis business rep is now a liar as well, and this has become very seriousI also received a collection bill today Regards, [redacted]

YesI have receive my couch from atlantic bedding and furnitureIm still dissatisfied with the service and treatment that I experienced from shopping at this storeIt ashamed that I had to go out of my way to actually get my couchWhen I purchased this furniture I was expecting it to be in my home within to to three weeks, not two to three monthsI can't take this business seriously because of all the lies that I was toldThanks for helping me receive my furniture

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint The sales receipt says no refunds on sales The definition of a sale is the exchange of a commodity for money; the action of selling something I did not pay for the merchandise and no where on the receipt does it state that they will not refund layaways or merchandise that is ordered The fact of the matter is that the receipt does not indicate what the store is stating regarding no refunds on ordered merchandise They advertised a product that they did not have in the store I have the right to cancel my layaway at anytime within a day time frame If their is a clause stating that no refunds are given on ordered merchandise that should be stated on the receipt The only thing listed is all sales are final And I did not pay for the merchandise nor did I received it I did not purchase anything; heck I didn't even see it because it was not in the store and therefore the store needs to refund me my money Regards, [redacted]

Our store policy is there is no refunds on ordered itemsThe customer furniture was ordered on February 23th and arrived to the stores Warehouse on March 10th well before the March 19th deadline that the customer requestedThe customer was notified that her furniture had arrivedWhen
notified the customer requested to extended the layawayThe extension was granted and noted on the customer's invoiceThe customer came into the store on April 2nd requesting to cancel her layaway . She then proceeded to ask for refund and was told our store policyWe offered the customer a store credit and an option of using her deposit toward something of equal valueThe customer then became angry and stormed out of the store.Please review the attachment below it is an actual copy of the customers invoiceWith the terms and where she signed agreed to those terms. This is in response to [redacted] complaint...We did a repair on Mrs. [redacted] faucet. We told her the price up front and she signed the contract..After finishing the job she signed the completion side of the contract..She wrote us a check which we deposited. We were then informed by our bank that...

the check has insufficient funds and was returned to us with a charge of $35.00.We called her and she said she was going to send another check along with the $35.00 fee.She then sent us a letter saying that we were to expensive and sent a check for a $100.00 and that should cover the repair and her bank cost and ours..I would have like to have had a chance to go to Mrs. [redacted] house and settle this..If we did something wrong we would compensate her but we never had the chance.There is nothing on the work order about a leaky toilet and that price would never have been quoted..We replace entire toilets for less money. I,m not sure what she is referring to about the $800.00 estimate...We do excellent work and we have never threaten a customer as long as we have been in business..If a customer is not happy with our work we fix the problem for free, period..This has been a policy of Speedy Rooters since the beginning.We have not cashed her $100.00 check and will not until this is resolved. We strive to have happy customers and am sorry this happened with Mrs. [redacted]..Sincerely,Daniel Devlin , President

This company rep misquoted the job. They know he did. Their employee was an elderly genteman, and obviously did not know how to repair, or how to estimate the proper repair. One gasket is not a $325 job. I have  also never spoken with this woman or anyone at this company in regards to the original payment, nor did I ever at any time say I would pay the rebilled amount. This business rep is now a liar as well, and this has become very serious. I also received a collection bill today.
