Dear Sir/Madam: This is a response to a complaint # [redacted] made on 2/11/concerning an emergency tow by ***’s Cargo Transport and TowingThe customer’s mother feels that the price of the tow was too highShe is also upset because she did not get a response to an emailFirst, the email was never read , and it is not in the email accountIt might have been deleted, or it went to spamThe email was not ignoredSecondly, all she had to do was callThe phone number was provided at the scene The customer’s mother should be aware of the conditions under which her son was rescued by ***'s Cargo Transport and TowingHer son’s car was crossway on Route 65, a busy highway, during a whiteoutVisibility was reduced by the blizzard, and her son was in a dangerous position on the highway, especially in a white car which was difficult to see in the snow Seeing the emergency situation, the operator delayed another call to help her sonNot only did he hook, winch, and tow the car off the road, but he also prevented the driver from getting a possible ticket and points for driving too fast for conditions or driving recklessly, if the police had arrivedHe also prevented another accident by removing the car which was across the driving lane [redacted] jeopardized his own safety by getting under the car to prepare for removal of the car to alleviate the danger Any complaint should be directed to the insurance company for not paying enough for the towIf they only pay $50., perhaps more insurance coverage is necessary Customary towing rates include necessary equipment, expertise, and prompt action for alleviating an emergency, which this customer experiencedThis was a weekend (Sunday) night when rates are normally higher than daylight ratesThe customer was rescued safelyHow much is one’s safety worth?
