I purchased a vehicle that was for sale on craigslist in January I was told by the owner the battery was deadI gave him the money to go purchase a battery which he did it was Interstate Battery brandThe battery failedI tried to return it to the Interstate Battery store I tried to return under the month free replacement warranty and they would not take it back as it was sold by CostcoSo, Costco would not warranty it without the club members information which I no longer have over years later I ended up spending money out of pocket for a new battery because neither place would honor the battery warranty!

The battery connections are improper, and the engine control unit needs to be reprogrammed
I have had over batteries from this company have had issues with each and every one of them this time I find that they're selling me refurbished batteries instead of brand new ones at the cost of new onesall four of the ones that are under months old have died on me within months

My compliant is due to the fact Interstate Battery Corporate Headquarters, of Dallas Texas, failed to honor a (warranty) on a Interstate Battery MTP-95R/H9!!! I called their headquarters two weeks ago and was assured, that this matter would be resolved! A woman from the headquarters did provide me with a phone number of a guy named Steve, to call and contact about a new battery covered under my initial battery warranty! I called the number numerous times leaving messages daily for(3) days, to no avail however as the guy never returned my calls! I then called the Interstate Battery Corporate Headquarters, again, and was told that I need to drive all the way to Willoughby,Ohio, to obtain a new replacement battery under my battery warranty! I informed this woman, that one, I am already at inconvenience by paying out of pocket for a rental for one week to make it to/from work due to the battery having dead cells! #2, Why am I the consumer required to pay $in gas there and back to Willo

I need a copy the original receipt for the batteries with the date you purchased them Also a copy of the date and original replacement batteies receipt
I see the bad test but not the date on the receipt."
Lisa indicated that I would have to purchase two more batteries in order to get a refund I advised
Had a Megatron Plus Month battery but in my car I am looking at the bill and August 8th it will be years for the battery

This review is regarding how Interstate Battery squirms out of the stated warranty on it's batteriesThe number of months stated on ANY of their batteries, might as well be imaginaryThe simplest and truest measure is and should be, the purchase price and how many of those PROMISED months the battery delivered, when calculating the refund dueTHIS IS NOT WHAT THEY DO!!! They weight the initial months at about THREE TIMES the later months, i.eif the battery lasts half of it's expected lifetime you get one quarter of the battery's cost refunded to youI have seen this complaint over and overThis is definitely NOT right, misleading by intent at best and fraudulent at the worst, amounting to millions, I'd guess in undeserved profits and now Costco is in their camp
