Ms. Campbell,
In respond to the complaint filed with the Revdex.com, I have reviewed the customers file and
no where on the purchase order or contract signed by the customer...

does it state he
bought a v6 or had a [redacted] sound system as he states. I also found that the purchase
price he indicated he paid is incorrect, the customer pari $15,999 plus goverment fees
for the 2012 [redacted] which is substanially lower than he claims to have paid.
I am also perplexed as to why if he thought he bought a v6 with [redacted] sound system
he never in the last year and a half complained to the dealership.  I have never heard
from this customer about any concerns.
Any offer of settlement on our part would only be a goodwill jesture to retain him as
a future customer and that would be mininamal at best.

I had Steel-Craft install an overhead garage door into my garage. The installers were very unprofessional and created a hazardous situation in my garage. Two days before the installers came, I had an electrician install a junction box on the roof of my garage. This junction box was using entirely new materials and I watched the entire installation process. The garage door installers, for some reason, drilled into the back of the electrical junction box I asked them to use hitting the wires within. It appears they then attached it to the ceiling and turned the power back on. There is a scorch mark on the ceiling of the garage. When the electrician came back out, he discovered the inside of the junction box was black and one of the wires that had been damaged was still exposed. Obviously this is not something that normally happens randomly to brand new components.

When I called Steel-Craft, the manager, Juan, said that his installers did not do this. He could not provide an explanation for what happened and refused to admit that his company was at fault for this. He implied heavily that it must have been like this before or that the electrician drilled into the box despite the fact that I told him I could confirm this did not happen as I was present for the electrical installation. This was a very frustrating situation and incredibly unprofessional behavior.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I personally spoke with the used car manager before and after this happened, he didn't say anything about not taking deposits on cars. the salesman told me it was the manager that stated to give a deposit because it would be three days before we could make it back to pick it up.. we live 3.5 hours away from the dealership, that was the reason for making a deposit.  I really doubt any salesman, at any dealership would even ask for a deposit if that was not something they did on a regular basis. if this had been a personal sale on the street, craigslist, classifieds.. I could understand not holding or selling for a higher price. but a legit dealership really took me by surprise.Regards,[redacted]

Review: We went to buy a vehicle with cash with the understanding that the price had been dropped and any less was not going to happen. When trying to finance the $1,500 that they were adding on due to the additional fees dealers charge. There was a charge for $1000 that the dealer charged for cleaning and detail, which I thought was very expensive compared to other lots. They tried to put us in a vehicle that cost twice what we wanted to pay. It was late afternoon and I told them I wanted to go get lunch and I had to make a call to get the additional funds to make the purchase. In the amount of time it took to go to a fast food place, order, and eat, when we went back they were in the process of selling it to another person. When confronted on this the had nothing to say and continued to push us towards the other vehicle.Desired Settlement: I wanted the sales person [redacted] to be reprimanded who completely destroyed this companies image in my eyes. [redacted] also was not my original contact it was a salesman by the name of [redacted], who was helping another person when we showed up and they had [redacted] help us until [redacted] was finished. [redacted] lost his commission from this sale because of [redacted] and I did feel bad for [redacted] because he came in at the end to find out [redacted] destroyed his sale with us.

Review: My car was involved in an accident and after repairs were made the car was still making a ‘noise.’ The original repair shop said they were unable to locate the noise and couldn’t solve the problem. I then contacted Jerry’s Chevrolet hoping a second opinion would help me identify and fix the noise and was upfront the noise was a result of a previous accident that was undiagnosed from the original repair shop. The manager told me there was a $125 diagnostic fee (or whatever the cost of the repairs) that would only be charged if they were able to diagnose the problem. He stated that if they were unable to identify and fix the noise I would not be charged anything. This assurance was the only reason I allowed them to look at the car because the prior shop that originally did the work was unable to diagnose the noise. I was not going to pay a fee just to have someone look at it knowing the history of this problem.

They said they would call me after making a diagnosis before making whatever repairs needed to be made. I never gave any authorization of repairs to be made. I only received notice that the car was ready to be picked up after the work had already been done. The manager told me the break lines were not in the brackets correctly and the rear exhaust hanger needed adjusted. He said the noise was no longer present and "these could have been causing the noise." I was skeptical these minor repairs costing $125 were the actual source of the noise, but the manager assured me the car was test driven and the noise was no longer present, and that if I continued to hear the noise I could bring the car back and have it looked at again free of charge. Upon this verbal assurance, I paid the bill and signed the paperwork. Unfortunately, the ‘noise’ was still there after the repair, so I took my car back to Jerry's to be looked at again. The manager Chris told me, "There is nothing mechanically wrong with your car. You may want to take it to the autobody shop that originally did the work. I am not going to be able to satisfy you." My husband requested a refund per our original agreement, but it was denied.

I then took the car to [redacted] and they immediately identified the 'noise' problem as an alignment issue - it was visually seen that the front left tire, the area of impact from the accident, was not aligned with the rest of the car. The camber was off a full degree and "this was most likely a direct result of the accident." They aligned the car. They heard the noise before the alignment was done and also confirmed the noise was gone after the alignment was completed.

Contrary to what Chris at Jerry's Chevrolet told me, it was a mechanical issue and not a autobody issue and therefore they should have either fixed it or reimbursed me the diagnostic fee for not being able to solve the problem.Desired Settlement: $125 refund for the diagnostic fee.

Review: I purchased a vehicle on 6/7/13 in VA. While at the dealership someone was playing games on the PA system. I guess they thought they were funny by repeating [redacted] loudly until the sales guy had to come across the PA and mention there were customer in the store. Then the sales guy [redacted] had me write two checks for the down payment. One to be deposited on 6/21 and the other on 7/5 but said I had to date them for 6/7 so the finance company didn't know the funds would be delayed. Then he wrote extra features that my car didn't have on a sticky note and told me to lie to the finance company if they asked about the extra features so the loan would be approved. I didn't get my WV tags for almost two months so I had to call and request another temp tag for an additional month. I believe [redacted] the lady in the office forgot to even send away for them. When I took the car to get inspected in WV it failed because the tires were balled on 3 of the 4 tires. I contacted Jerry's and told them that the car was only 2 months old and wasn't passing WV inspection on 8/2 at 1:30 p.m. and I was told a manager would be looking into this and calling me back. At 5:55 p.m. I called again and the guy said he didn't forget about me but didn't know what my name was but he would get back to me as soon as possible. At 8:45 p.m. my boyfriend called and they said the manager wasn't there to speak with. Saturday 8/3 we called again and left a message at 11:00 a.m. We called again at 4:30 since no one had called back and left another message. At 5:00 the manager called and said this was the first he had heard of anything and that we could bring the car in on Monday 8/5 at 10:00 a.m. We waited at the dealer from 10:00-11:00 before they took the car back which caused my boyfriend to be late to work. When they looked at the car they said the tires should have passed and that the guy just wanted to sell me tires. The place I took it to be inspected doesn't even carry tires. They then said there was nothing they would do and recommended we take it to a dealer in WV whose info they provided and also called in advance. I'm not comfortable taking the car to a place they called and spoke to and recommended. Seems fishy to me. If the tires are balled and won't pass inspection why would I want to take it to a dealer they recommend so they can just slap a sticker on it. This was handled wrong from the begininng and to know I have two little ones I transport everyday upsets me knowing they aren't willing to make this right!! I feel I should have good tires that will pass inspection on a $16,000 car I only bought 2 months ago.Desired Settlement: I shouldn't have been sold a car that wouldn't pass WV inspection nor do I feel I should have bought a $16,000 car that had bad tires. I feel they need to replace the 3 bad tires.

Review: I went into the business in question on 4/14/2013 to purchase a vehicle. I drove from [redacted] to [redacted] to purchase this vehicle. When I went into the business I had my own financing set up with my bank. When I was introduced to the finance manager ([redacted]) he asked me if I was interested in getting a lower rate. I told him "NO". He tried to convince me to let him run my credit so that he could get a lower rate and I still declined his offer. I also mentioned to him that I monitor my credit reports and that I was very cautious about my credit standing. As of today 4/15/2013 he has ran credit checks with multiple lenders (12) without my authorization. I called him and asked him about it and at first he said that he had to do it to make sure that I wasn't a terrorist or laundering money. I told him that was a lie and that I never signed anything saying that it was okay for him to run my credit. I told him that I was going to call the police and report identity theft and he than said he never ran my credit. This man is a liar and has committed a criminal act.Desired Settlement: These inquiries need to be removed from my credit report. This has caused my credit score to go down and now I am unable to qualify for certain interest rates because of his criminal activity. I also would like a call from his manager to make sure that he has disciplined for his actions.

Review: I purchaced a 2012 [redacted] 200 car. I was told it had a 3.6 l engine , and a [redacted] acoustics stereo ., as options, a value of 1325.00 dollars . the car I got , did not have these options . I had to resell the car and take this loss.I was also promised a 2nd key, and did not receive it .Desired Settlement: I will settle this claim for 1000.oo. refund check.with no further action
