From: Benjamin S [redacted] Sent: Tuesday, January 31, 8:AMSubject: complaint id # [redacted] Good morning:My name is Ben S [redacted] and I am the new general manager of Jerrys custom paint in Gresham OregonWe received a letter from you dated January 26, saying that [redacted] had sent a complaint to youI confirm that her car was at our shop, but the manager that was handling it has been let go for various reasons, one was how repair orders were being handledWe did contact [redacted] after her car had been taken back to her by previous manager, I was not involved with this repair After we had made several contacts with her about the bill that she did not show up to she finally came in after closing with her mechanicWe discussed the bill on her car and she wanted to have us only charge her for the parts, I advised her that I could give her a fifteen percent discount and we reimbursed her for rental that she had incurredI let her know at this time this is what we would do to compensate her and nothing moreHer mechanic agreed with this also that it was pretty good deal for herWe gave her a credit of on repairs and ordered the small trim piece for her, which came in the next Tuesday and she called Wednesday then came over and it took just moments to install That was a cost to us When the customer finally came by with her mechanic they did not mention any missing items or problems and they indicated that he was there because he had looked at the vehicleI asked them both before they left and all that was indicated was the trim piece that was needed This is the first time we have heard of her needing anything even though more than once I had asked her if there was anything else we needed to take care ofWe are willing to look at any issues she might want to address during our regular hours for her We are not willing to pay anyone else for items when we are not asked about them and contactedThis customer was compensated for the way the no longer here managers handling of her car repairs very generouslyIf there is a problem with her car we will be more than glad to take a look at it!! As for her wanting more of the bill reimbursed it sounds like she is just wanting money and not concerned about any items on the car Thanks very much Ben [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The reason I wrote to the Revdex.com, is because after talking with Ben & telling him of my huge frustration of their business continually telling me they would call a certain day and never keeping their word When he did it again, in front of both me and my mechanic, told me he would call me by Monday and he did not, once again they did not keep their wordI lost all my confidence that he may have gained since my talk with him I know this is not going to change anything, but after all I had explained to Ben I would have thought he would have made every effort to call me when He said he would Sincerely, [redacted]

From: Benjamin S*** Sent: Friday, May 26, 2:PMSubject: ID # *** Good day:In response to the above id case, Mr *** did come in to pickup his vehicle The car was here and there was not paperwork other than we were told by the previous manager, Mr s*** that
he had fixed a water leak and it was ready to goThere was not any money given to Jerry’s so we called Mr *** to pick up car When he came he looked at his car and said it was supposed to had this work done for replaceing door w/strip and seals I explained that we did not have anything in our files indicating this I asked him if he had any paperwork or an estimate of such work, he said no and that he had given cash to Mr s*** I then asked him if he had a receipt and again the answer was no Then I offered to help by giving him the labor for free to install these door parts if he would like to purchase them He then left with his car, when he returned weeks later he came in and wanted us to make repairs to his car,again I let him know that we would install the door parts if he would get them and that was the best I could do He got mad and raised his voice as he left ,making threatys as he went out the doorWe do not have anything on paper or in our computer showing evidence that he had given Jerrys any money, nor did we have any receipts showing anything purchased for his vehicleI don’t what we could do other than what we have offered to him already Thank you Ben S***, GM Jerrys Custom Paint

sent a complaint to you. I confirm that her car was at our  shop, but the manager that was handling it has been let go for various reasons, one was how repair orders were being handled. I let her know at this time this is what we would do to compensate her and nothing more. Her mechanic agreed with this also that it was pretty good deal for her. We gave her a credit  of 422.23 on repairs and ordered the small trim piece for her, which came in the next Tuesday and she called Wednesday then came over and it took just moments to install.  That was a 18.73 cost to us.  When the customer finally came by with her mechanic they did not mention any missing items or problems and they indicated that he was there because he had looked at the vehicle. I asked them both before they left and all that was indicated was the trim piece that was needed.  This is the first time we have heard of her needing anything even though more than once I had asked her if there was anything else we needed to take care of. We are willing to look at any issues she might want to address during our regular hours for her.  We are not willing to pay anyone else for items when we are not asked about them and contacted.
