Review: He was hired to remove and dispose of 19 trees. Initially, he did not remove all of the trees that we initially agreed to. His "proof" that he used to show that he was correct was writing on his estimate after the fact. Since I needed the trees removed for safety reasons and his crew was already there, I reluctantly agreed to pay him an additional $** (I had already paid him about [redacted] at that point) to remove the trees that he was supposed to do under the original contract. He, without my knowledge, worked out a deal with my neighbor so that some of the oak trees would not be removed, because my neighbor wanted them to be sent to the lumber mill. The price that we agreed to the first and even second time included the removal of all cut-down trees, so I didnt care who would take them as long as they were gone. Long story short, my neigbor only took the ones that he could. Some oak trees were left and even some poplar trees (which my neighbor never even wanted). When I contacted [redacted], the owner, he was very hostile and actually hung up on me and wont return my call. He did, however, text me and say that he would charge another [redacted] to remove the remaining debris that he had already been paid to remove.Desired Settlement: Since [redacted] said that to remove the remaining debris is $5,000, then I would like $5,000 to get someone else to do the work.

Spoke to [redacted] from the business he states that he was first contacted by the customer’s insurance company to remove fallen trees from the customer’s home and yard. Once those trees were removed the customer asked [redacted] to walk around the property to price the removal of multiple trees. He put white x’s on the trees that were included in the first price and then in the morning two more trees had x’s on them. The customer tried to add those trees into the first price but [redacted] was very clear that those trees would be an additional price. The news trees belong to a neighbor and the customer needed to get his permission before [redacted] would remove them. The neighbor gave his permission on the condition the logs were left because he wanted to mill them. The new price included the take down of the trees and the removal of the limbs but not the logs. Then there was another tree that [redacted] said he would not take down for at least [redacted], but after speaking with the customer he agreed to remove that tree and two more for [redacted]. [redacted] did not pick up the check for the job for another week after the job was done; when he left the customer was satisfied and paid the invoice. This took place in March and then a few weeks ago the customer called unhappy that the logs had not been removed. It was up to the neighbor to remove those logs because the logs belonged to him. [redacted] also stated that he offered to contact the neighbor with the information of a logger to remove the logs but the customer was unwilling to give [redacted] those contact details.
