Review: My wife and I have been a patient of this establishment since Jan 2013. We have had a lot of work done and always paid our bills in a t**ely matter. I visited the dentist on 1/15/2015 to repair a crown that fell off. Prior to seeing Dr. S**, I was informed by Jarret (Financial Coordinator) that I owed an outstanding balance of $412.50 and that I was required to pay for it before seeing the doctor. I asked for an explanation of these charges and was told that I would be given it after Dr. S** fixed my crown (it needed to be printed). I agreed and paid the bill in full, in good faith, for the amount of $508 which included $126 recement charge for my crown.Upon examining a billing system report for our account, provided by Jarett, I was surprise and mad to see I had just paid for a charge of $351 for services performed on 12/12/2013. This was labelled as "repair/reline of occlusal guard". Earlier in the year I had a night guard made for me; paid in full on 1/24/2013. It broke 2 t**es within 12 months and eventually was replaced with a new, thicker guard by Dr. K**. I was informed by Dr. K**, that there would be no charge for this at the time due to faulty product. Dr. Yohan K** has left the practice recently and now I am informed that I needed to pay this after the fact. The office will not respond or assist me in this matter (probably because I already paid all bills in full). I want to know what recourse I have.I was not informed of these charges at the time of service and do not agree to them over a year that they were present to me. I plan to take this to small claims court if I have to. I consider this deceptive business practices / switch and bait. I am still am not sure exactly what the charges are really related to and want an explanation.
