Jersey Lock & Key

Review: I called Jersey Lock & Key in hopes of them to send a locksmith to repair the latch on my storm door which I was unable to open. I explained that I was not locked out but my door for some reason was not opening. They informed me that they would send someone right away with the parts to repair my doorAnd that there would be a service fee of $19 just to come out. When the locksmith arrived he said he was told I was locked out and asked me since I am not locked out what is my goal. I explained that I needed my door to open. He informed me that they do not repair storm doors. He then called his office and took a picture of the latch. He said they will have to order the part and he will call me with an estimate when he gets to the office. He then told me he has to charge me a $49 service fee. He asked for a check made to cash or cash. I asked him why was the service $49 when I was told it would only be $19. He said I don't know anything about that but don't worry it comes off the amount of the part. I gave him a $49 check and was never given an invoice or got a call back from him.The next day I called Jersey Lock & Key to find out what's going on I was told the locksmith they sent couldn't get the part and that they are not responsible for refunds. I asked what the $50 was for and they said the work he did. I explained he took a picture and that was it. Jersey Lock & Key explained they just subcontract the job out (which no one told us) and they can't help us. We told them we would call the Revdex.com and hey said to do what you need to.Desired Settlement: I would like my $49 back
