[redacted] & [redacted],We apologize for any confusion or misunderstanding. We did not estimate 4-5 total labor hours for your 3-bedroom, 3-story, 2100 sq ft townhome with a 2-car garage move. A move within that time constraint of 4-5 hours would be more standard for a typical 2-bedroom apartment with the...

same type of access. Upon seeing your home during our material drop-off, we suggested adding one (1) more man and (1) more truck because of the amount of stairs and the amount of furniture (significantly more than a typical 3-bedroom condo) in order to increase efficiency, which it did. As you said, your moving crew worked very hard to complete your job as quickly and efficiently as possible.  You left for your new residence before the crew had finished loading by your choice even though they still had a few large items to disassemble, pad wrap & load and then took a 30-minute lunch (required by law and at no cost to you). We always recommend the customer stays at the location where the crew is working in the event questions or issues arise. This would have prevented any uncertainty of what was taking them extra time which ended up being the large oversize desk that had been originally assembled and glued in place and the master bed with very large headboard that would not fit down the enclosed staircase without being broken down to its original boxed size. Your calculation of what your total invoice should have been does not include the materials that were requested to be delivered to your home prior to your move date, the materials used on move day, un-mounting & packing of your 3 tvs which you had previously said you did not need until our movers arrived, as well as most importantly the time it took to unload the items at your new home, fuel fee, or drive time – all of which were very clearly stated on your quote and confirmation letter. Your lead mover completed an inventory report of what was being moved, the condition of each item as well as your change order form indicating the additional packing requested and items added to your original inventory list. The credit card rate you referred to is actually written in all capital letters, bolded and in red on your quote and was written in two other correspondences from us prior to your move and is very common in the moving industry. You selected basic insurance on your agreement for moving services form which is the state mandated $.60/lb/item. You did not select full value additional insurance coverage which would have meant you would receive full value coverage for any damaged items.   Based on your insurance selection, your total insurance claim amount was $90 - we sent you $225 ( $135 more than required)  within 10 days of your move date, removed the credit card fee, and removed the overtime cost. We take customer satisfaction very seriously. We have been serving the San Diego community for over 15 years and have thousands of happy customers that use our services again and again. We do our best to be as clear as possible regarding pricing and policies. We’re sorry that you were unsatisfied with our services. -- Reliable Delivery LLC[redacted], Owner8655 Production Ave #CSan Diego CA 92121Office: ###-###-####   Fax: ###-###-####[email protected]
