Jessmore's Auto Sales Reviews (2)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Jessmore says himself that after further looking at the vehicle they determined that there is not a wiring issue with the vehicle. I did not bring the vehicle to a GM dealership because I feel that I am not responsible for the charges of the diagnostics. However,  I had the vehicle airbag diagnosed at [redacted] in North Syracuse. The diagnostic from them indicates that the rollover-sensor that jessmore  replaced was not programmed correctly, however they were able to see that the sensor is fact a new sensor. Also, they informed me that another sensor located underneath  The front right passenger seat is also needing to be replaced and programed properly. Jessmore from the get-go said that he would take care of this issue. I have photo proof with time stamped date and time May 3, 2016, with the vehicle displaying "service airbag" with the factory radio still in the vehicle.  I installed an aftermarket radio on May 4, 2016. I did not cut any wires for the installation, I connected an adapter to the existing wiring harness in the vehicle. The modifications that I made to the vehicle are not permanent fixtures and do not alter any of the vehicles original OEM wiring.  Joe is correct when he says that my aftermarket warranty can be redeemed at any other repair facility. However, the ball joints that he replaced have gone bad. The warranty company will not replace these again because the warranty company requires that the original repair facility covers the parts under a one-year warranty. So the warranty company is refusing to have them  again. The warranty company refuses to pay for it because they require that Joe jessmore provides a one-year warranty on these parts. I can also submit the diagnostics for the two airbag sensors that are needing to be replaced. Joe states in this message that he is not willing to do anything else for me.  Joe also states in the message that they determined that my aftermarket radio did not affect any wiring.

Mr. Customer purchased his 2007 Avalanche with 116k miles fr, m us on May 3'd 2016. The customer is correct when he states that during his test drive, there was no air bag light indicator on the dash. Also, the New York State Inspection of said vehicle also does not indicate that there was an air bag...

light on(The inspection receipt supports this). However, a vehicle can pass NYS inspection even if there is an airbag light on. The air bag light does not fail the vehicle but the inspector will always note that the air bag light I on so they can tell the customer. To our knowledge, the , vehicle did not have an air bag light on at the time of delivery. The customer called us and told us that it ere was an airbag light an. So we arranged to look at the vehicle and we found out it needed a roll over sensor, which we put in. But it also need d to be programmed to the vehicle which we had to schedule on a different day because we hire some body with the necessary computers/equipment to program the vehicle properly and he wasn't available the same day we had the vehicle. So, the vehicle come in for programming and we discover that the customer had installed an aftermarket head unit for h! stereo. Our programmer was not able to program the rollover sensor because he believes there is a wiring issue (from the stereo install) and it could not be programmed properly. We looked further into the problem and could not find a wiring issue Which is why we told the customer that it needed to be diagnosed further at a GM dealership and we feel  that we're not responsible far the diagnosis charges. , have told this to the customer over and over because he has made several calls to us but has refused take our advice. Any of the work regarding the air bag light, we did not charge the customer. Th vehicle was purchased with over 100k miles so there is no NYS limited warranty. The customer did purchase an aftermarket warranty and we completed other repairs that were covered and the customer was required to pay his deductible. So,yes, the customer paid his deductible for the covered repairs, but we did not require any payment regarding the air bag work even though it is not covered under warranty. We have no knowledge of who else as looked at the air bag issue. As far as the brakes, we completed a brake job an Sept. 13th 2016(front pads and rotors and rear pads). We don't know what the current issue is with the brakes but it has been about 5 months since the repair and only recently did the customer mention a problem with the brakes. We have not had a chance to look at them yet. We are willing to look at previous repairs to see if there is an issue with the parts. However, we do not want to work on the customer's vehicle going forward because of how this relationship has gone. His aftermarket warranty can be honored at any registered repair shop.
