Dear *** ***,Below is the complaint of a customer whom we serviced on May 18, 2016.We are the service providers for the insurance company with whom this customer has a warranty.The customer claims after our repairs an indicator light came on and the cause of the light is due to our having
made the repair.This is a totally unsubstantiated claimWe referred the customer back to his warranty company and he claims they have denied the repair based on the part being obsolete.However, as repair technicians, whenever we find a part obsolete and report it to the same warranty company, the next mode of action from the warranty company is to replace the unit.Since we undertook to do the repairs this customer has requested of his warranty company, he has had appliances replaced - a dishwasher and an oven.Just today, I spoke with the warranty company and they advised me that Mr*** should be calling them and not us, as the warranty is with them.I am sending this information to you at the request of *** ***; however, I want to strictly deny any claims pertaining to this cooktop.This email is to simply follow through on the customer's request, as he has reported it to the Revdex.com.Again, this email is strictly following through on protocol, and not the filing of a claim for *** ***'s cooktop.Sincerely,*** ***JET Appliances & HVAC** *** *** ***

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted].. 
 in an email sent 1/31/17 to Jet's insurance provider: [redacted],I have been in contact with [redacted], which is the the warranty company. They have advised through every call that the issue has to be dealt on a customer-repair person basis as they cannot be the middle person to issues that can happen during a repair situation. Their example was an analogy such that "if Jet Appliance had hit my mailbox while entering the driveway, then they are responsible for that claim." The same would follow suit with the indicator light that is now inoperable. Yes, [redacted] is correct that appliances have been replaced. The reasons are accurate and substantial (and have nothing to do with this issue) since multiple resources were used to diagnose and ultimately come up with the most cost effective solution. Either way, that shouldn't affect my claim with Jet and their irresponsibility on their repairs to my cooktop. Jet has claimed that they are certified technicians and I have found that their expertise is lacking. I witnessed [redacted], their secretary, attempt a repair and cause collateral damage on my microwave surround and cabinetry. They ultimately repaired the issue, however saying that they are experts is very far from the truth. The fact that a person with no knowledge in the field was assigned a task and created damages was beyond acceptable. The same applies for the cooktop, which again since they damaged something, they need to replace it. [redacted] never pre-diagnosed the unit and never ran the unit through its paces after he replaced the burner. He only checked the item he replaced. But as I said below, the repair is very intrusive and intricate. It involved going into the controller.  He should have reviewed all circuitry before leaving...Revdex.com was contacted since [redacted] and [redacted] never returned calls, voicemails or texts.
