Went there saturday to purchase a tire that I was quoted would cost me $30.00-mounted. So I get there and the guy took my tire into the shop as he told his employee to find a tire my size and put it on the rim. The employee brought a tire out and threw it in my trunk and told me that I owed him $40.00. I told him that I was quoted $30 and he said I owed him an extra $10 because he had to replace the valve stem. Then he said he would let it go for $35. Then I asked him if he was gonna put it on the car and he rolled his eyes all up in his head as if I had asked him to replace a major part but went ahead and put the tire on grudgingly. When I was about to hand him the money I asked for a receipt and he said that they don't give receipts for used tires and if I need to bring it back for something he did they would replace it. I went on home. I live near. When I attempted to go out later I kept hearing a loud knocking sound coming from the tire so I put on my emergency lights and drove slowly back to my residence and parked it.and when I went out this morning to walk to the corner store the tire was flat.
